With this one im not going to go too much into the numbers, because from looking at the numbers Dallas will have enough mney to do what they want. Ill be focusing more on the players and how i think they could be used in the grand scheme of things.

Dallas Resignings, Tenders, Restructures, and Paycuts.
Brandon Carr(paycut)
Tyron Smith(restructure)
Tony Romo(if they need it they will restructure)

Dez Bryant
Doug Free
Justin Durant
Tyler Clutts
Cole Beasley
Ron Leary
Darrion Weems

Now i know people will question McClain not being resigned. I just dont think he belongs. The arson thing, i know its speculation but its there. And rumors about him looking for a big deal, and his inability to play through any injury. I think Dallas will offer him a deal but i think somebody will offer him a little more. Dallas was desperate for a MLB and he served his purpose, but Dallas will do just fine without him. Hitchens makes McClain and Durant less important, but the better teammate and the lesser headache is Durant. The way i see it Hitchens was outplaying McClain by the end of the yr anyways.

Free Agents

Jabaal Sheard DE, He played OLB for the browns and was a mess, but before that was a DE and showed alot of rush. Perfect example of a 3-4 team forcing a natural DE to make the transition. Would be a really good fit on the strong side for Dallas. Never stops moving. I dont think he will demand any kind of big contract and will probably work better in a rotation that Marinelli likes to use.

Demarco Murray RB, think he will test the market and see the money isnt there and will come back to sign with Dallas in the range of 5mil-6mil a yr for 3 yrs

Colt McCoy QB, Hometown kid comes home. Nice backup who has had success coming in and playing when his team needed him too.

NFL Draft

RD1. Trade down to the top of the 2nd think one of these teams will be willing to trade up for one of the OL. A guy like Collins or Flowers. Ill say trade with the Jags they need a OT. Dallas gets their RD2, RD4, and RD6 pick

RD2(JAX)
Paul Dawson LB TCU
LBer who makes plays, and can play the way the Cowboys need their LBers to play. He isnt going to play the WILL so i think he needs to add a little bit of weight to man that SAM spot.

RD2
Xavier Cooper DT WSU
Very quick off the snapCan play both DT spots. Reminds me of Crawford with more closing speed.

RD3
Josh Shaw CB USC
Long physcial CB who can play both man and zone. Played in the tampa 2 in college. A player that was played both at CB and FS during the week at the Sr bowl.

RD4(JAX)
Rob Havenstein OT Wisconsin
Gotta love the program at Wisconsin in grooming these OL for the NFL.

RD4
Cedric Reed DE Texas
Would be nice to team him up with Lawrence at RDE for the future.

RD5
Nick Marshall DB Auburn
Decided to make the switch to CB. At the SR bowl during the week he lined up at CB and he suprised alot of scouts at how well he was able to cover WRs and held his own against speedster Dorsett. Would be one of the bigger type CBs at 6'1 1/2 204lbs.

RD6(JAX)
Sean Mannion QB Oregon State
Lost his guys to the 2014 draft andd struggled alot this past yr. Is better than Vaughn.

RD7
Kyle Loomis P Portland State

RD7
AJ Tarpley LB Stanford

QB Tony Romo
RB Demarco Murray
FB Tyler Clutts
WR Dez Bryant
WR Terrance Williams
TE Jason Witten
LT Tyron Smith
LG Ron Leary
C Travis Fredrick
RG Zack Martin
RT Doug Free

SDE Jabaal Sheard
3TECH Tyrone Crawford
1TECH Xavier Cooper
RDE Demarcus Lawrence
SAM Paul Dawson
MIKE Anthony Hitchens
WILL Sean Lee
LCB Brandon Carr
RCB Orlando Scandrick
FS JJ Wilcox
SS Barry Church

That's a homerun draft and a lot of guys I am pounding the table for. Not a huge Shaw fan but I wouldn't be mad. I would be mad if we took him over someone like Steven Nelson. Would you take Shaw over him? Instead of the QB/CB conversion I think we would look for interior OL depth. Someone cheaper than Bernardeau. Shaq Mason.

I think nelson goes end of 2nd early 3rd Dallas drafts at the end of the round

Yeah, Murray is going to be back for 6 mill a year. Right.....

I think you plan goes awry because of Murray, and trying to pay Doug Free.

Ro not playing thru injuries huh?? At the end maybe, but he played with a bad knee most of the season. The dude is a freak and i want him back.

People forget what he meant to this defense because he was out the last couple of games. Without him IMO we lose 3-4 more games.

What there any difference between him playing and Hitchens? I saw none. So the knee kept him out? Hitchens played with the high ankle sprain.

Physicality and a leader for one. And I love Hitchens and thought he should have been playing for Durant early on. But you cannot count on Lee, I'm sorry, you just can't.

Now give me Ro, Lee, and Hitch healthy together?? I get a woody thinking about it!

Rolando finished 2 or 3 games all yr. You can count on him?

I liked McClain, he played well really at the beginning, but I would only sign him to a heavily incentive laden deal.

LOL!

I honestly think his play tailed off a bit due to him being out of football so long. Full offseason, OTAs, and TC should do wonders for him returning to dominance.

He brought a physicality to our defense I haven't seen since Ken Norton Jr. was manning the middle for us.

I hope he is re-signed.

LB in a 4-3 isn't vital. Back in the day we never paid for LB's. No reason to start now. Use that money for the DL. I would let Ro and Carter both walk and bring back Durant on the cheap.

Lee-Hitch-Durant is good enough to win games

It's not that they are not vital, it's just that Jimmy's theory was that there was a better supply of them relative to demand than other positions.

Marinelli's defense has some similarities to Jimmy's, but LBs are more important to Marinelli. They're the brains of the defense. He lets the DEs abandon run contain often in an attempt to increase the pass rush. It's up to the LBs to make quick decisions to cover up for the DEs when they abandon run contain.

I think they probably have a specific contract in mind for him and I think they'll tell him take it or leave it. They'll quickly move on if he does not take it. I would expect some of it to be incentive based.
