1. Get rid of the dead weight. Brooking, James, Newman, spencer for starters. Throw in campo.
2. Move Tyron to LT.
3. Sign Carl nicks in free agency
4. Spend every draft pick on defense

1) Get OC
2) resign laurent, fiametta, elam
3) cut newman, maybe spencer
4) FA: sign nicks (OG), soliai (NT), #3 CB
5) Draft: Rd1: OLB, Rd2: OC (ben jones), Rd3: Best CB

#1 would have been fire current GM and get real GM but that wont happen :D

I think that you're not aware of what the word troll really means.

I was with you until you mentioned using all draft picks on certain positions.

Never a good plan. Take the BPA.

We need to focus our draft on defensive players (particularly secondary and Dline) and the Oline. We do not need RBs or WRs. Not unless someone phenominal fell to us.

1. Re-sign Robinson, Fiametta, and Elam.
2. Re-sign Spencer to a "reasonable" contract if possible.
3. Cut B James, Brooking, and Newman.
4. Use the savings on a veteran ILB (who can play the pass as well as run) for quality depth/rotation, a 3rd CB, and one quality OG.

5. In the Draft, take an OLB, NT, OC, and another CB. In the later part of the Draft I'd look for another TE and slot WR to compete versus Ogletree and Harris as well. Hopefully either the CB or WR we draft can also return punts and/or kickoffs.

I think it will be a big mistake to give Spencer a big deal,he has motivational issues and I will guarantee he will mail it in if we give him an extension.

I wouldn't even contact his agent.

I don't want Nicks. I don't want to spend premium salaries at non-premium positions. I would rather just sign a good OG instead of going for an All-Pro one. I would consider opening the wallet for a Pro Bowl Center and I think Hardwick from SD is available but he's a bit older than I would like at 30. I wouldn't want to go more than 3 years with him.

I'd be fine with spending most of our picks on defense for BPA but I would like to spend at least one pick in the first three rounds on an interior OL.

At worst, we're an 8-8 team. At best, we're 10-6. Either way, it's an improvement over 6-10 from last year.

Draft smart, and don't reach for any particular positions. Take the BPA ... we have lots of holes to fill.

Don't try to make any splashes in FA. Even JAGs are better than Brooking, James, and Newman right now. Bring in some depth and a few mid level FA's.

Don't give any big money to Spencer. Let him walk if he's looking to break the bank.

We're coming along. We're not one player away, but with a solid draft, quality depth, and a few strategic FA's, there's no reason why we won't be making a NFCCG run next year.

Protest outside Cowboys Stadium until the GM quits! ;) Then hire a OC and let Ryan get the players he wants.

I wouldn't mind Campbell but I think he gets franchised.

I wouldn't mind signing a good OG but I don't want to break the bank there as it is a non-premium position.

I also don't want to draft an ILB that high after just spending a 2nd on Bruce Carter. It is better just to give him a chance. I would rather re-sign Bradie for depth and as a contingency then to spend another pick that high at this spot.
