Who had his head up his butt and left only 2 CBs to cover 3 Saints on the 6? Somebody missed his assignment. This is the one play that bugs me to no end.

I dont mind them getting beat when they have coverage, but there is no excuse in being outnumbered on the goal line. It is one thing to be beaten for a score, it is another to not even make your damn assignment on a very critical play.

I am 100% positive that every Cowboys fan knew they were going to throw that WR screen...and they did.

Whoever goofed on that play should be on the flogging line with Folk.

There were several plays where the d was running around clueless.

yes, the Saints hurry up put us in a tizzy.....that is on James who is supposed to be our QB out there.....still, at least on the other plays we matched up on their WRs....didnt leave anyone uncovered.

Honestly that play was like the one for the offense, where Romo tried a delayed handoff to Barber, but had to run himself, cause Barber was too busy posing for cameras.

They should have taken a timeout....if we had one

No doubt Dallas made a mistake in their alignment on the bubble screen and that is something they need to correct however we also held a quality team who avgs 36 points a game to 17 point

that is why i said that one play was my only beef with the defense....cause we left a guy wide open, uncovered, and untouched

that's all coaching... you can blame that on the DC (HC)... I really tought this thread was going to be about FOLK... :D

i got my jab in on Folk in this thread

There was even a situation in the 1st half where that happened, where I beleve finally Carp swung out there.......

That should've been covered by coaches either during half, and for sure while the D was on the bench.........

its not like they didnt have time during 3rd Qtr....time of possesion flashed was greatly in Boy's favor thru 3rd

Might well be a downside of Wade as head coach, also Def coordinator.....but he's gotta get those new looks thrown at his D talked over......

Heck .........get Jerry Jones down there with hands on...

I agree they messed up on that play. Someone should have called a timeout since there was some confusion on the play.

All the confusion and they only scored 17 points.

First time NO had been held under 20 all year.

my beef was with the 4th and 10 and Bobby Carpenter. He has to know where the first down marker is. Colston caught it about 2 yards in front. Instead of simply wrapping up and denying him the first, Carpenter tries to knock down the ball and whiffs.

Thank god we have Ware and Spencer to save us on that drive.

True he should have made that tackle but I will also give Carpenter a big hand for some positive plays he made lastnight in coverage

Actually, 24 was the least they'd scored all year until they played us... 21 was the least SD had scored all year. :)

Yeah, I was impressed on that one play where he was stride for stride on the Tight End on the Seam Route.
