Is losing Jason Ferguson for the season...

Newman will be back.

Ellis will be back.

Glenn will be back.

Roy will be back to his playmaking self.

Henry will look better when we get Newman back.

But losing Ferguson is big. Really big. Ratliff is fine on passing downs and Remi will be okay, but Ferguson was a very good player and a vocal leader. He was having a great training camp and preseason. The NT position in this 3-4 is of huge importance. I'm holding out hope that there might be a glimmer he could be back for the postseason. If not, I just hope that Ratliff and Remi can get the job done.

Let's just pray for no more injuries. We are going to have a special season if we can start getting healthy.

I'm not worried about losing Ferguson as long as WP is right about designing the scheme around the players -- he will find a way to make the best use of Rat's talents.

What I am worried about, however, is Romo. It's pretty apparent to me that if the Cowboys lose him they lose the will to win. As long as this kid is on the field I think his teammates believe that they can do anything. Without Romo this team, and the season, is lost.

We went into this game banged up some and got a win. Things will look better as some of these guys return.
