My exact rankings as well. I may switch Coleman and Abdullah depending on the day.

Best part about it is we will get one of the top 3 and I would be ecstatic if that happened.

5th or 6th round pick..............Malcolm Brown.

North/South runner, good not great speed, runs with power and purpose, has good vision, very good at ball control, very good in short yardage and goal line situations, tires have quite a bit of tread left in them, as he shared carries in college with 2 other backs......

Didn't really get a lot of touches as a receiver out of the backfield, so he may need work with that aspect of his game......good, not great blocker in pass protection

Good stuff, OP. Very little to disagree with there. That's pretty much how I see this class, too. To the man.

Tevin Coleman does not belong in the "stay away from" category.

He is the third best back in this draft and is worthy of a second round selection.

He is worthy of a late 1st......he won't go past the Jets early 2nd

Wow total disagree with it all. Ajayi fumbles way to much. Coleman had such great visiin. Your scared of him getting hurt but you like Gurley who I think is way over rated.

Then you have to look at our scheme. Dallas likes inside zone runners. Gordon and Ajayi all like to bounce outside.

And best zone runners are Duke and Coleman.

I too watched a ton last night and came away with the impression that Gurley is the top back in this class and its not even close. I know its hard to accept that we should spend a 1st on an injured RB but this kid is a special talent.

I like Coleman a little bit better.

I just love the way he fines the lanes and cut back lanes. The he stays in his zone and can break arm tackles. Now he might not run over many guys but he will Go right by them

Since it's becoming more and more apparent that Murray won't be back I decided to watch a lot of tape on the RB's of this draft class. A brief synopsis of what I found out...all my personal opinion of course.

-Gurley and Gordon are legit...if 1 is there at 27 you take them and don't look back

-Ajayai is the clear cut #3 back in this class. He has some flaws but I think with some coaching he could be a stud. Very good trade back candidate

-STAY AWAY from the next tier of RB's....Duke Johnson, Ameer Abdullah, and Tevin Coleman- They all have serious flaws and I don't want any of them. Duke and Abdullah will probably find homes as change of pace guys, but that's not what we need. Coleman's running style scares me. Way too upright and doesn't appear to see holes as well as he should

- The real value guys= David Johnson, Jeremey Langford, and Buck Allen. All big, fast (Buck is only so, so but good enough) and are smart runners in my opinion. If we could get Johnson or Langford in the 3rd or Buck in the 4th it would be an absolute steal. These 3 are the type of guys you can get later in the draft that makes not paying big $ for RB's obvious.

- Potential late round steal= Malcolm Agnew from S. Illinois...this kid runs HARD. Hits the hole with a very good burst and its afraid to lower his shoulder and take on tacklers. Former Oregon St recruit who started for them as a true freshman. Injuries are a big concern with him as he's never been able to stay healthy, but I definitely think he's worth a shot late 6th/7th

THANK YOU!!!!!!! Been raving about Langford for a long time now. He'd be my choice if Gordon, Gurley and Ajayai are gone...Langord can be had in the 4th round or maybe the 5th round even. Tremendous value. I think my gut says Ajayi or Langford in the 3rd or 4th.

Being a Boise St. alum.....I understand your concern about Ajayi's fumbling issue....

let me say this....True it was an issue....But as this season progressed...he got remarkably better.....

he began to understand teams were trying to strip him...because..quite frankly...they couldn't stop him.

Once he figured out what teams were doing.... he quite trying to get the extra yard or 2 ....for the sake of ball security.

It's nice to know he ..." can get that extra yard if I need it"......Just like Emmitt. I don't know if you can say that about Gordon.

One other note I'd like to add.....Don't be fooled by early tape of Tevin Coleman. That kid has matured a ton this year....A lot of the tape floating around is of his early

days..That guy is a beast. And I wouldn't be shocked if he wound up being the best back of this group

Could potentially see a backfield with brothers Malcom and Ray if we draft him. Kinda neat.

Right. I'm not big on Gordon. Colman is my guy. I like Ajayi but like said before his fumbles scare me and I don't think he fits the scheme. He bounces outside to much.

I like Gurley and Coleman, Yeldon too. But Duke Johnson is my favorite RB in this draft.

So true. I go in this order, injured or not:

1. Gordon
2. Gurley
3. Coleman
4. Abdullah
5. Ajayi

I just have to say...Abdullah is not the guy for us. He's a VERY nice kid but he's smaller and put the ball on the ground way too much. Here's my order:

1)Gordon
2)Gurley
3)
I would not draft Abdullah. He fumbled 1 in 35 carries. Compare that to Gurley at 1 in 180.

BINGO!
