I’ve heard and read that, yeah. But I figured I would roll the dice on a talented slot option that late in the draft.

I agree. That’s why I was thrilled to get them both.

Chiasson is certainly boom or bust, but so is every draftee.

One thing I know for sure is they need warm bodies in the secondary.

That first one has a real chance to be a draft that sets this team in the right direction.

They both really come down to if Chaisson hits or not.

Both good drafts with players that I like. I don't know that any of our top three CBs are under contract past this season so taking two isn't a bad idea.

That was exactly my thinking. Anthony Brown is the only experienced cornerback under contract in 2021 and I think that they have to start adding some names to the mix.

I also agree with a double-dip at CB.

Im a big fan of Chaisson,Delpit and James Proche...they just look like Cowboys.

Im startin' to feel like Chaisson won't make it to us...but I hope he does.
he's the perfect fit in my opinion.

Wow! Thanks for turning me on to NFL Mock Draft Database. That was fun!

Chaisson and Henderson went early, but.....Tua fell so I was able to trade #17 for #34 and #44 with Indy...Nice!

Pretty good haul. I had a hard choice at #51 between Madubuike and Ashtyn Davis. I went with how I think the Cowboys would go.

my recents seem to depend heavily on site and board used with fanspeak/ontheclock but chaisson seems to always fall to us.
with fanspeak type sites i try to use boards updated recently. most outliers get corrected over time.

with pff I almost always trade down to 20 or 27.
at 20 I still get chaisson but pff hates the kid.
At 27 WR/CB seems to be the value.

CB/DT/WR/S good values in round 2-4 pretty much universally.

so much time wasted on these lol.

I know! I think of all of the time I have spent on these mock draft websites over the years! And then I always feel frustrated after the draft!
