-Will not consider a trade back if either of these two players are on the board Sewell (my #1 non QB offensive prospect), Farley (my #1 defensive prospect). Farley has that uncanny ability to always turn his head and locate the football, along with 4.3 speed at the position.

-I would consider trading down if Surtain was on the board, but not past 18. Feel Horn and a 2nd rd pick is worth more then Surtain alone. Who knows Surtain could even fall to that pick. I've seen him being ranked in that 14-17 range. If both are gone, best player available at a need position.

-If a trading partner could not be found, I am content with drafting either Surtain or Slater at 10, but not for an off the ball linebacker. Poor valued position, one that takes a lot of damage on a game to game basis due to a lot of collisions. Add that fact team has already invested premium picks and money, along with none being a legitimate three down player at this point. JOK is the closest, but I worry about him in the run game.

-If we see the team trade to that QB sweetspot 19-21, best defensive player available would be the direction, without positional value. Barmore, linebackers, defensive ends, edge rushers all would be on the table.

-If we see a far trade-back, say 25 or later, that would tells us they are targeting one of those single high safeties-Moehrig or Grant.

so trade down and risk losing the player you trade down for?

and just say BPA is fine? Stick to madden

If they are comfortable with a few prospects, getting an additional 2 outweighs taking a player like Surtain at 10.
