If Harris would have went back to school for his senior year he would have been a sure fire top 1st round CB in next years draft. But with the coaching change Harris came out early.
I think he can come in and learn behind Newman for one year and take over full time next year. Harris can also push Jenkins or come in and take over for Newman if Newman gets hurt. I think Scandrick is all but gone after this year. Scandrick is a horrible nickle back and Harris will beat him out at Nickel.

i agree
from my perspective, at 40 we can do one of 3 things (in no particular order):

1. take harris if he is there
2. take a NT/DE like taylor or ellis
3. take OG/C like watkins/ijalana/cannon

just depends on how things fall and who we think makes most sense on our draft board

i would prefer #2 myself but would be Ok with any of these

this is why i would prefer to trade down with NE (if we do trade down) to get their #33 pick sop that we can do 2 of the 3 things outlined above and take OT with the #17 pick

I agree but not with #2. 40 for Ellis is to high. I would take him in the mid to late 2nd but I like Harris more. Ellis is a good 3-4 DE but I think 40 is to early for him, several better players that would help us more at that spot han Ellis would.

I'm not high on Watkins because of his age. At 40 I want a player that can play for the next 10 years. I like Ijalana alot because of his wrestling back ground, he would make a great OG but I think he will be gone by 40. I like Cannon but his wieght scares me. He keeps gaining wieght. He was at 340 for the senior bowl and then over 350 for the combine. He is strong as hell but I think he might eat his way out of the NFL. I would rather take Rackely in a move up into the bottom 2nd round or hope he falls to us in the 3rd.
