Looking at NFC and the next 3 weeks, this is the most likely scenario i see.

Seattle # 1 seed
NY G # 2 seed
TB # 3 seed
Bears # 4 seed
Dallas # 5 seed
Atlanta # 6 seed

Minnesota, Carolina, Atlanta and Bears could all end up 10-6 but tie breakers would prolly knock out minnesota and Carolina.

But regardless, TB and Bears both have best shot at winning their division becasue they hold the tie breakers.

So Dallas will play one of those two teams for wild card round. Im thinking we end up going to Chicago to play Bears for first round of playoffs, which is a game i think we win.

Of the following teams (TB, Bears, Carolina, Atlanta, Minnesota), TB is one team i would not want the cowboys to have to play in round one.

To be quite honest, I'd rather face the Bucs than the Bears.

I also think I'd rather paly the Bucs in the first round rather than AT Chicago. The Bears defense will pressure Bledsoe with weather factors against Drew hurting even more. I live in Orlando, and although their defense is very good and the fans in Tampa will be loud also, the weather will be similar to the weather in Dallas and I think this would help our chances in winning.

Plus, there's a good chance that I could go to this game live, so that would be nice coupled with a Cowboys victory :)

I'd PREFER to somehow win our Division and HOST a game in Dallas... I think we can BEAT ANY TEAM IN TEXAS STADIUM

GO COWBOYS!!!

I Don't think NY will get the 2 I'm not sure they even make the playoffs. If they lose this week and then lose to the Skins which with their injuries is very possible then that would put them at 10-6. I think we win out. Chicago I only see winning 1 (GB)game putting them also at 10-6

Tampa will lose this week in NE and win their last two going 11-5

Carolina will win 1 (Atlanta) and lose 2 going 10-6

Atlanta will also win 1 (chicago) and lose 2 going 10-6

So I think us and tampa both go 11-5 and even if we don't get a bye we will have one home game then hopefully we can play Seattle again but prob Tampa.

Regarding dallas playing the bears or tampa bay, i just think the bears offense is bad and we can shut them out.

TB has a decent defense, decent offense and they just find ways to win, Gruden is a good coach.

I agree that carolina and atlanta end up 10-6, think TB will be 11-5, but im not so sure the giants are going to fall apart, KC may beat them but doubt they lose to washington, and really dont think they will lose to oakland, but since they do have some injuries everything is up in the air.

I don't think they lose to Oakland either but depending on their injuries the Skins could easily beat them or atleast make it a decent game.

So, is everyone in agreement that we are gonna win out and go 11-5? I think that we beat the 'Skins and definately rough up that smaaaat kid in St. Louis, but I have my reservations about calling Carolina a win just yet. We can beat any team on any given Sunday, but we seem to bring a different team to every game. Lets just hope that the offense that can convert 3rd downs and score 31 points shows up, and the defense that can cover somebody comes with them.

i'm more worried about the skins than carolina.

2 things about carolina....

they dont cover that great so you can pass on them, and delhomme has really struggled lately. If you can limit steve smith, they have a hard time scoring points.

That is true we can look so good one day and not so good the next. I think what many including myself is hoping for is that this team makes a real playoff push. Looking at past playoff teams it is the team that is getting hot in the last month of the season that tends to make the most noise in the playoffs. Let just hope the KC game was the start of something special

The Cowboys simply have to take care of business NEXT week before we start talking about January. And the trip to Carolina isnt exactly going to be a cakewalk either.
