Round 1: Derrick Harmon, DT Oregon

Gap versitile disruptor. Gives me Muhammad Wilkerson vibes

Round 2:Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA

Excellent LB prospect who should be able to play Mike or Will in the NFL

Round 3: DJ Giddens, HB, K State

Grinder with excellent contact balance. Helped himself alot for a strong 40.

Round 5: Cam Jackson, DT, Florida

Massive DT at 6'6 330. Excellent run stopper, non existent rusher, but has trait to develop. Conditioning is a problem, but as a 5th round pick he can be strong rotational contributor

Round 5: Rocket Sanders, HB, South Carolina

Excellent athlete with a checkered college career. Deep class pushes him down

Round 5: Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas

Thin cover corner with strong ball skills. Could be a strong sub package CB

Round 5: Dacorian Clark, WR, UTSA

A nice dart to throw ar WR. Made Feldmans Freaks list. Good contested catch WR that needs work on route running to get better separation

Round 6: Sean Martin, DE, West Virginia

Another money 5 dart throw. Good sized DE with one year of starting experience and needs work as a rusher. Starter upside is there though

Round 6: KJ Jefferson, QB, UCF

Developmental duel threat QB

Round 7: Micah Mazzccua, OT, Nebraska

Has a chance to be a solid depth player at a few OL positions

I'd like a higher-graded halfback, but would be OK with this since you took a second RB. I just think we've got to take multiple swings at it to make sure we find what we need. We will probably bring Dowdle back as well, and he performed better than I expected last year.

I like the first-round DT and second-round LB to help bolster this defense. My guy was Walter Nolen, but he's cost himself valuewise. ... If we did go RB in the first (if Jeanty fell to us), I'd be tempted to take Nolen in the second, but it would depend on how his character concerns checked out.

I think Giddens might be slept on a bit as a prospect. The 40 helped him alot, but even before that he was a guy I could see coming in and giving a team 1,200 yards rushing as a rookie.

I like the focus on the D, but odds are a 5th round DT is going to be a role player/JAG and even that will take 2-3 years to happen
I think Cam can give you a decent 10 snaps a game now. Against the run he should already be able to hold up.

He is a 5th rounder in my eyes, because unless he slims down and gets in better shape that's all he might be. If he can, he might develop into a 3 down guy sometime during his career

Pretty good haul we’ve just done nothing to improve the black hole of WR2.

With as many holes as we have, some places you are gonna have to to punt on or throw darts. Pretty much every area of the team is considered a "need". They are going to have to keep their word and be active in "tier 2" FA to be playoff competive this year. WR2 could he one of the spots they do that with

I agree but if we’re going to do nothing in FA I’d rather draft a WR early and then hit the deeper positions later.

I don’t see a “tier 2” FA WR moving the needle at all.

I think Darius Slayton would be a solid option

Fair point. It depends on if they want someone to outright take Mazi's spot or if they feel he needs depth behind him to rotate better.

I expect they are going to count on Smith this year. He played alot last year, and made improvements as the year went on. You have to see if that carries over, but you still need depth and options if it doesnt

As long as you sign or trade for a quality #2 receiver, I’m on board. Really like your top 3 rounds and the zone corner

Unfortunately I think the odds Mazi being more than a JAG are really low. That pick was a pretty major blow. Hopefully I'm wrong but the signs were always there with Mazi as he wasn't even that good in college and I watched a lot of them that year.
