I'm ready for the real games to begin. I hate the preseason and watching the first half was all I could stomach. The Giants are coming to town and hope they can sign their name on the wall and revisit their early winning ways at "Cowboys Stadium" or A T & T. The Cowboys are healthy and should be firing on all cylinders minus Greg Hardy. I think our D will look great especially with Sean Lee guiding that Defense. Dez is unstoppable and Romo is in great shape. The RB's are ready to go and I think we will see a heavy dose of Randle and D MAC. I am almost too confident going into this game and really don't think it will be that close. I think we'll get our first glimpse of Randy Gregory doing his thing out there as well. I think the preseason play won't even compare to what we'll see Sunday night. Garrett is going to try to run it down their throats and forcibly establish a run game. He knows that equals wins. I know we will get our points and the Giants may be missing Victor Cruz which could hurt. That means Beckham will need a big night while being double teamed which won't be easy, even for him. I can already see Coughlin throwing a fit on the sideline. I worry a bit about the special teams but there will be different guys out there, maybe some we didn't expect. I know this is all really common knowledge for people in the Zone but I just wanted to put it in a positive light. My predictions:

We put up 7 on our first drive.
Randy Gregory will record his first sack.
The RBBC approach will surpass 125 yards on the ground and have 2 TD's. D Mac shines in this game.
Sean Lee will be the leader in tackles followed closely by Church.
Eli will throw two pics.
Romo will throw 2 TD's and no pics.
Beckham will get one score but it won't be enough for them through the air.

I think the most important thing for this team is to get in the playoffs on a roll, playing really well, regardless of how we get there and what our record is. Home games are nice but if we play our best ball in January how we get in or where we play won't matter, or that's my theory. I think this season will be a great one for Dallas. Super Bowl? Why not?

I too am giddy for the return of General Lee. He instantly makes our defense 5 spots better just by himself

I predict I will be 7 beers in before I walk in the stadium. Lol.
I think our running game will be just fine. I'm super excited for our defense. I predict top 10, if not top 5.

Read on a Giants board, wthout Scandrick, we have one of the worst secondaries now. (even Matt Williamson of ESPN NFL Podcast, says we were terrible even with Scandrick)

So obviously we can't cover anyone. Giants will put up 400 yds thru the air.

Oh ya, also Eli is better than Romo. According to Osi Umenyiora Romo is so erratic.

The only thing for certain is, is that I am geeked for the opener and my stomach will be in knots. All dogs, remote controls and walls had better be on high alert.:muttley:

I like how we have The General (Lee), The Senator (Witten) and The President (Martin).

I would love to see the offense humming to the tune of 30+ points as predicted by many here. I just don't see it this week. Really has nothing to do with the opponent. I just expect a game with a lot of mistakes costing the offense sustained drives. Expect a snooze fest in the teens....

Yes. I think can and should be a statement game. Letting the league know we are improved and ready to be one of the dominant teams. For a while.

gonna go out on a limb here and predict that Tony Romo will start. The question and concerns related to our QBBC will be resolved and decided. mark it down. take a picture! seal and deliver it.
