Others on this forum are better at this than me, but some things stuck out for me last night:
-Lewis Neal is a keeper. I saw him disrupt two plays in one series last night and was a huge reason Dallas held Todd Gurley to 2 yards on 4 carries.
- Taco's sack was more impressive than I first thought. The Rams tackle had a bad block, but Charlton did a nice job making himself skinny. And his closing burst allayed a lot of worries about his lack of speed.
- Lance Lenoir may have cost us the game. All he had to do was back away from the punt if the sun was in his eyes. The Rams' only TD came after that gift.
- Rod Smith- one carry all game. Wanted to see more.
- Not sure if Byron Bell's audition at left guard could have gone worse.
- Kellen Moore threw like he's actually right handed. Luke McCown was on the street for a reason. Our best backup QB option is clearly Cooper Rush.
- Defense was hitting hard on all three levels last night. There were clearly some mistakes made, but these guys were intimidating.
- Darren McFadden's performance encouraged me. He finished his runs and showed nice burst to get to the perimeter a couple times. He's not Zeke, but few backs are.
