1-3..

Definitely not the start to this season that I expected even in a worst case scenario.

The team is just too sloppy and looks poorly coached.

The defense might be the worst product they have ever put on the field since I've been watching this team. The Odell Beckham play at the end was some of the worst angles and tackling I've seen from Pro athletes.

Byron Jones... Why did we let this guy go? I know we are missing 2 of our top 3 corners but my gosh if we still had Byron Jones at least we could take 1 guy away. The Ravens just paid Marlon Humphrey and he has like 2 picks in 3 or 4 years.

Amari Cooper.. This guy is soft. We let Byron Jones go for this guy? He has no interest at all in making tough catches and he stops on routes if he thinks he's about to get hit. I have no doubt Noah Brown catches that ball at the end. Amari Cooper does not have the mindset that if the ball is in the air that it's his.

Dak.. He's not the problem but we were stuck at 14 points for a large part of the game. I just can't imagine us giving him the money he wants and the roster improving.

Dallas has a lot of problems and they are locked into Zeke and Amari for awhile and they are about to lock themselves into Dak.

McCarthy He needs to go back to the barn and not come back until he brings Aaron Rodgers with him.

Dalton Schultz continues to impress me. He's a heck of a player and just does his job. Reminds me of someone the Patriots would have.

Slow starts... Stupid mistakes... Implosion.. Try to fight back at the end.. That's our brand of football and the only thing saving us is our division is just as pathetic as we are.

you missed the complete lack of pressure or run stopping by our garbage dline and lbs....that was probably the thing that killed us the most yesterday, 300 rushing yards is beyond stupid

The defense can just be summed up by saying they are garbage.

There is a bright spot here and there but the Beckham TD is one of the most pathetic plays by a defense I've ever seen.

Also, who thought it was a good idea to put our 5th string corner Worley against Beckham 1 on 1 at the goal line?

As bad as our defense is it's even WORSE at the goal line.

establish the run and you can control the game and pass with less pressure.

our 90s teams the perfect example.

It pathetic when your opponent scored on well over half of its possessions and you start them in great field position with turnovers.

our O even with backups looks capable of hanging in with anyone but can’t expect to always be clawing back for potential last possession wins.

Our running back has been fumbling.

We're going to decrease our explosive plays and give it to Zeke who is anti explosive play and also fumbling?

The Zeke 90's method gets Dallas nowhere.

It is shocking when fans can’t see the simplest thing

Did you so how the Browns 3rd and 4th string RBs did? They did great because their OL was able to dominate our DL. The issue is our OL, not Zeke.

Hasnt Byron Jones been a disaster so far? He's also hurt

As someone who watches the Dolphins(great season for football, eh) he's been fine when healthy. Injured too.

Dolphins have the same issue the Cowboys do in not getting to the QB. Although they were at least able to sack Wilson here and there. He's their best corner with Howard going through the motions and Ighanabonenenenene(SP) getting beat like a drum.

The problem with this team starts in the front office. We know this and we have been saying it for years. Jerry and Stephen are simply not good general managers of this football team. They have a bad philosophy and make wrong decisions.

Of course we all have our opinions and we could be wrong too.

Time for some honesty. The Cowboys drafted Ezekial Elliott with the 4th pick in the 2016 draft. This was a big mistake. Zeke is a good running back, but RBs are not hard to find. And if you have a quality OL, they are easy to find. Many teams today have a running back by committee approach and it is successful for them. RBs can be found in the 3rd and 4th rounds every draft. Maybe Deforest Buckner would have been a better pick. Or Jalen Ramsey.

In the 2nd round they took an injured Jaylon Smith who had to sit out a full year and at the time no one knew if he would every play football again. What if they took Chris Jones? Derrick Henry or Michael Thomas? Of course this is 20-20 hindsight, but it is an indisputable fact that Smith was badly injured as a senior, that he would sit out a year at least and that some doctors said he would never play again. Who else but Jerry would have made this pick?

The Cowboys priorities were all wrong then, and they are still wrong now. To win in football you need to be able to play defense. And defense starts with the front 7. Jerry thinks you can build a defense around bargain basement DTs. Jerry has been chasing the offensive formula Jimmy Johnson had in the 1990s. He is infatuated with the idea of having an Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin and Troy Aikman. He will never have that again.

We have seen year after year they Cowboys ignore DTs and Safeties on the draft board until the later rounds, or they draft guys like Trysten Hill who are complimentary DTs, not pocket pushers. He has the same philosophy with safeties. He thinks he can skimp there too.

The fact is, being a GM in the NFL is hard. So if being on of the worst GMs in the league for 25 years without being fired, unless you are the owner too. And this is the problem with the Cowboys.

Sloppy I think sums it up. The defense is bad, and the offense while explosive can't keep giving the other team extra possessions. The entire team(coaches included) just seem to be hell bent on finding ways to lose.

Fans nick pick the two best players on the team Dak and Cooper. Calling Cooper soft on a meaningless drive at the end of the game is laughable. The guy is on pace for 100 receptions he is earning every bit of his 20 million. Dak has at the very least played at Romo level if not better. It’s not his fault that he has to play perfectly for the team to win a game. If you watched the Eagles game last night, Wince was hot garbage but their defense bailed them out. We have a defense that got embarrassed by two Pop Warner trick plays and fans want to criticize the teams best players. Only the Cowboys Zone.

im no fan of cooper and think his contract was a major mistake.

having said that I think a number of things went into him stopping on that int.

#1 - I dont think he was expecting the ball...without having seen the all 22 I think he might have been clearing for another wr behind.

#2 - I think he was out of gas. He looked exhausted.

#3- Dak threw by my count 4 medicine balls Yesterday. I think he has been throwing them since day one and no one ever talks about it.
I think cooper realized he was lead into a massive collision when he saw the ball and stopped. he would have been hammered. Dak was
Lucky not to get shultz hurt yesterday. I would say something to Dak if I played on this team as a pass catcher. He has really thrown some
balls that are dangerous this year and in previous years.

#4- Maybe cooper just doesn't care that much and knew the game was over anyway and didn't want his head taken off there.

Seems there are so many problems with this team folks are over looking a major problem and that's zeke.
I can understand his lack of production and explosive plays because this line has been taped together with scotch tape. But the fumbles are INEXCUSABLE. It's bad enough this defense couldn't stop a bunch of 3rd grade girls from scoring, but to constantly have zeke (who had a nice run yesterday, only kill it with a fumble) put the ball on the ground.....nobody wants to talk about it but benching should be in the conversation. INEXCUSABLE!

You guys have gotten way to into stats.

Stats are for fantasy football players and are games have been unfolding in a way that's very stat friendly for the offense. It's meaningless. 1-3 is what matters.

Cooper has all the ability in the world and he is playing like a guy that is making business decisions.

He's constantly pulling up on tough catches and constantly checking out of the game.

Now Dak has to wonder if he can rely on Cooper on slants if Cooper is worried about getting hit.

When the ball is in the air it's not his.
