Vampires? No. My fear is that Bill will look at the present state of the Eagles, anticipate a low-scoring game, then unleash a super-conservative gameplan that just might be good enough to get us beat. No way in hell we'll be as aggressive as the first meeting.

I hope you are wrong.

me too.... I'm afraid that being on the road BP will be a little more conservative.

If he does go conservative and runs the ball then hopefully Julius or MBIII can break off some big runs for scores.... (hopeful of course)........

let's see -- road game, expecting rain.

that's a formula for a conservative gameplan.

don't say I didn't warn you.

In other words, you fear the Seattle game all over again?

I bet he turns the tables and comes out throwing to get up quickly before going into grind out mode.

I think you're closer than anyone else......I'm thinking he'll go for the throat early, to leave the rest of the game for a ball control style of play that he favors anyway. He'll prolly be aggressive in the first quarter, and depending on how that works out, he'll slow things up in the second, and play the second half as we have for most of the year, which you cant really hate on, cuz we already have 5 wins......only one less than the whole year last year....I say we beat the eagles in a close won with a suffocating defense that wont allow much production from the other team. They may soften up a little in the 2nd half, but I think they are so focused on winning that the slightest hint of falling apart will completely restore their intensity.

I,fear the eagles will be at their best...for this monday nite game. IMO

stop that... just stop that worrying...

 :)

I don't think you can classify this as a secret fear anymore. Posting it here should make it a public fear.

We have beaten ourselves in two games like this one this year, nearly three, by playing it tight.

So counting on this game being different is folly.

Parcells sees a damaged team, stripped of playmakers, with an overly aggressive, blitzing defense.

He realizes that our best chance to lose is our own mistakes, plus he'll be leery of repeating our gameplan from the first meeting.

I doubt we open it up on offense, and if Henry is out or not 100% we may not attack on defense as much either.

We'll make this a low scoring game, I'm afraid.

Yes, that scare me also.......and Yes you can bet the Eagles will be out for revenge.

On the otherhand Dallas can put the nail in the Eagle's coffin and you better believe the players realize the importance of this game.

Zombies are much more dangerous than vampires. They can move in both night and day and only one small bite will turn you into the undead - but only the fast moving zombies, not the walking mannequins from the Romero flix, slow zombies shuffle along and don't scare anyone who isn't using a walker.

Oh...I thought this was going to be a thread about how you feared that Winicki and/or Trick would show up at your house on Thanksgiving.

Well, from no less an authority than Darren Woodson himself, Bill supposedly looks at the Eagles as one of those big bullies who you try to punch in the mouth as quickly as possible forcing them to tuck tail and run. Let's hope he sticks to that gameplan on Monday night and the Cowboys come out swinging like they did in Dallas.

Yes, but then again, we did open it up at San Diego.
