My STi in an Autocross

Well, I finally put my STi on the track...somewhat.

I drove down to Ft. Myers, FL and entered an autocross event. Those who don't know, an autocross is a timed racing event in which a course is laid out in a safe environment. In this case it was Buckingham Airfield.

It's still an active runway. There was plenty of room out there and the course was really fast.

This was my first autocross. I attended a Novice School where an instructor rides with you through the course telling you where you're doing well and where you're not. I had a great time and was about middle of the pack time-wise against Z06's, Lotus Elise's, several Miata's, Evo's, etc. Got to get all the runs in I could for $20 (this also included lunch). Looking forward to doing some more.

booooo sti ;), i will give them props though, for under 50k you can beat a ferrarri if you mod it right
