My take on Jerry Jones talking about offensivelinemen in draft, brandon albert too

OK, guys this is my take on jerry jones taking in the nfl draft about possibly taking an offensive linemen with one of our # 1 draft choice, Brandon Albert has been flying up draft boards, and its true most offfensive guards dont get taken in first 20 picks, 21st to 32nd yes, but not generally that high.

The value isnt there, next, i think when jerry was talking about an offensive linemen that could help us, starting out right away, i do think he is talking about brandon albert, reports are that he can play OT in a pinch too.

Next, he is a good pass blocker too, I do think Doug Free is our next LOT of the future, but say albert gets to us, or we trade up a little, not a whole bunch, but maybe where a few years ago where the eagles got shawn andrews, 16th spot i think.

Albert, as i see it, would replace Kosier and as we all know, Kosier is our week link on the offensive line. You could plug in Albert in at LOG, and he could also backup center too, maybe, not sure about that, but he might be or what they see in 1994 when they drafted larry allen.

Allen played OT and as we all know guard. Kosier then could be backup for OTs, and possibly backup center.

Im not saying im fond of drafting an offensive linemen in 1st round, id rather get a cornerback and a running back. I just dont see a WR in 1st round, none there with a 1st round grade.

Just my thoughts, by the way, the guys at nfl network our super high on brandon albert too.

Well, I am all about drafting Albert if he is there. To me, it's a no brainer but he won't be. He may well go top 10. He could go top 5 believe it or not. If Miami truely is taking Jake Long, then it's possible that Atlanta or KC could consider him. Both have big needs at LT. Certainly NE, Carolina and with out a doubt, Pittsburgh would all consider him if were there. Alas, I think he's a pipe dream for us.

However, keep a close eye on Zuttah. A lot of teams are looking at this guy as a possible 1st round talent. He can play any position on the line, according to reports. I don't know but he's certainly talented. This guy has unbelievable agility for his size. This guy pretty much blows away all the other top prospects at OT, much less OG. He's a guy that I could definatly see going late in the first. I'd love to get him in the 2nd but I doubt he's there. We'll see.
