Yeah, we got beat last night... disappointing - absolutely.

Let's be honest, several weeks ago we didn't even have any belief in this team yet after the trades and the wins against the eagles and chiefs we thought we could make a run. We got beat by a team that could run the ball or even shall I say move the ball by passing to the their rbs. A pair of fb's that are the best tandem in the league. The Lions are a well coached team talented team that haven't been playing up to their best with their back against the wall. They beat us!

Take nothing away from J Williams, he's a good back but what if we had Gibbs on our team last night - different game. I'm projecting that we will be in the thick of it next year with a few draft picks at key positions on the D side and a complimentary rb to Williams (who we need to sign at a decent $) and a couple FA pickups this team will be in the mix. Thoughts?

If we had Gibbs we'd have the same results we wouldn't have the results his team had with him. We have too many options they don't, he's just that good

I think if we had a Gibbs at RB, we wouldnt use him correctly. We had a Gibbs type RB in Pollard and we rarely used him as a passing threat.
