Theres really nomore debate. Daks team and the fact that Jerry wont even answer questions on Romo tells a big story. As juat a couple weeks ago he made no second thoughts of saying this was still Romos team. Thank the man for his contributions and lets move on to the present and love what we are seeing right now.
Dak is growing by the week. Granted the Browns arent the eagles but there were some game situations that were identical like some blitz plays and Dak recognized it and made the team play repeatedly. He runs the offense smooth and calculated Nd most importantly is he takes care of the ball.
This OL just seems to keep dominating whoever they play. it doesnt matter if ur the best DL or the worst in the NFL the results are the same.
The fact that the team isnt fixated on forcing the ball to Dez and just staying with whats gotten them 7 wins is a blessing. Think if they can get Escobar involved more things will start getting ugly for opposing teams. The more weapons they utilize the harder it is for the defense to figure out where ur going to go with the play. Thats the main reason the Patriots have so much success.
Its clear Dallas will miss Clai orne on 3 and 4 wr sets. Brown is decent but theres a serious drop in talent from Claiborne to Brown. Was great to see Scandrick play without restriction the past couple weeks. Even Wilcox is showing fundamental improvement in his coverages.
On the DL Collins seems to gotten his feet under him and is starting to make an impact in the trenches. Lawrence seems to be getting into game shape aswell.
Overall ill just say it looks like players on def just seem to be doing their assignments instead of being caught cheating or freelancing as in the past.
I havent talked about this but IMO Garrett has aslo grown into being a good coach. the players respond to him and it just seems like in ysars past Dallas had to many guys wanting to be the alpha. Too many high priced guys making business decisions out on the field. this team is young and theyre playing as one. Thats a winning combination
Enjoy the wins and enjoy the Cowboys.
