If you really can't read a thread that's really about how much change in accountability and culture there is around this whole organization then do yourself and those who can a favor and stop reading and go read something else.

I haven't really listened to much media or read much news on here the past couple weeks because basically they and a good portion on here don't represent this team at all. You live in a video game thinking this games easy thinking you could do what they do. Media guys don't report on games anymore rather just injecting their opinions as facts. Now I'll talk about what's been bugging me.

This constant Dak hate, set aside I'm a huge fan of his. I can see both good and bad but the good trumps the bad by far. I suggest people go watch videos of Kurt Warner on YouTube and his evaluation on Dak vs the eagles. Maybe you might find out you don't know as much about the game you think you do. Dak is very good at reading a defense presnap and just as good as recognizing certain coverages teams hide until the ball is snapped. Yes he makes bad plays and Warner points this out but then credits Dak in recognizing the same play and rarely makes the same mistakes twice.

Since he's been back from injury he's lead the number 1 offense in yards and scoring. That's with a team that was getting acclimated with a new OL, a wr group who lost 2 big contributors in the offseason, had Gallup coming back from injury. Did I mention they had 2 rookie tes to work in too? All this and he is still running the #1 offense in the nfl and can't get any respect.

Kellen Moore, I'll admit I can't stand him. But, I'll say he's improving and he's started to call some very good games recently. If he could just have enough restraint to call gimmick plays in big moments he would do himself alot of favors. If he allows the run game to develop there really isnt a team in the nfl who can stop them.

Jerry Jones told everybody this offseason that they would rather roll with their guys them sign them ridiculous contracts in Fa. Oh the hate he got and how much he didn't know about football. Look who is smiling. Is he still all over the place? Yes but he and the organization has built a damn good young team. If you can't see that then your missing a very entertaining time as a cowboy fan. Now there's the picture of Jerry. So what if you look at him he doesn't look hateful. The guy in the front with the cigarette looks hateful. Jerry Jones helped tyron when he was being used by his family and them trying to steal his money. He went far and being for Brent and brown when they were in that accident that killed brown. He had a 24 hr babysitting team for Dez that saved him from himself at the start of his career. People say he's never hired a black hc. The majority of the nfl hasn't either.

There is a lot about this team to like. Winning 12+ games two years in a row is something that should be recognized around here.

However, the truth is, nobody really cares about what this team does from Sept to Jan. Whether that’s fair or not, it is what it is. Until this team wins in the postseason (2+ games) nobody is going to think any differently of this team. Thems the rules. I don’t make ‘em.

I agree. Stats are great but in the end if you don't advance in post season the stats are meaningless.

That is the thing that bothers me. Let it develop but sometimes he pulls it and get pass happy. I don't know if it his qb mentality and he thinks he has to pass but let it play out. I mean if it is 3 and 1, you probably don't want to call for pass patterns that are 10-15 yards down the field. I mean just give it to Zeke or pollard to get the yard. Also I wish Dak will use his legs more.

It’s time to get the monkey off already. Dak and Zeke have been together for 6 years now and it’s time to make it to the NFC title game. We’re more than capable of winning two games on the road. Once that happens a lot of the media will believe again as well as fans.

I agree but ultimately it is about SB. Even if we make it to the NFC championship game you lose and the critics will still be there. For Dak to get the respect of his doubters really only way that happens is by winning it all.

See that statement is what's wrong with you guys. It's easy to be Gung ho and wear the jerseys, ect...when theyre winning. Try it when they're not on top. Why jump on the bandwagon, when you can ride the train. Just saying

What gets me with Dak is he has to many Romo moments. He wants to make all the plays. Hopefully one day he will see that pulling the ball down and running when you can will open things up for the pass and make it that much easier.

So the basic premise of this long thread is; Dak is Elite, Moores sucks and Jerry is wonderful in spite of the fact that he has never hired a head coach of color ………amazing take on things.

any thoughts on post season failure for the last quarter century, my friend?

It's really simple.

Something happened that had Dallas with no cap, and none of that was because of Jerry. Retirements because of injuries to guys like Aikman, Irvin, Moose, Erik Williams ect had alot of cap dead.

Next big thing to happen was Jerry trading for Joey Galloway. Now before you judge, if you don't know who Galloway is don't have an opinion on this. He was basically the OBJ of that era. He couldnt be covered, and just had freak injuries that took his legs when he got to dallas.

Then there was Parcells. Jerry put away his ego and hired the type of coach fans said he would never hire. A guy who needs control. Only problem was Parcells after Payton left to NO turned to a 1983 type of system. And he bounced.

Oh and then there was a year that the refs took the game off the field and decided it by a replay video. Said a wr didn't make a football move so no score.

Then another yr against the same team, on 4th and forever a dt for Dallas gets held by 3 OL in the open in front of the ref. No call comp for game winning fg.

There's been plenty of mistakes. But there's been alot of things that they couldn't do anything about too.

Nice post. Best part was this….

You made some great points but you lost me on this part...What exactly are you trying to address here?

I will say that, and by the way, loved your post LM. But I would say that most of the hate, about 85% are coming from X Romo fans. I went at Romo so dang hard when he was here, and now they're giving it to Dak. No matter what the guy does, they will never like him. Romo fans are insufferable when he was playing, and they are only here to down right blast Dak (Who stole Romo's Job) and they won't quit until he's gone.

That's what you all are dealing with.

That is what I was thinking. He can be dangerous if he does that and keep the defense on its toes.
