Overreaction by the normal group of fans. Yes Dallas got a beat down. I will say by a guy who has done nothing all yr. I have to think Dallas had to have thought Green has to be able to beat Clayborn the guy is a garbage. He never did. And i will say, ill go on record that Clayborn will never ever have a game like that again. And ill say Green will not get beat like that this week. Dallas had given up 10 sacks in the previous 8 games.

Me im more mad that the team gave up or forgot how to call run plays after the first drive. Im guessing the putrid penalties that killed almost every Dallas drive had something to do with that putting Dallas in alot of long yardage downs. Hearing Aikman just as confused as i was on alot of them penalties makes me wonder were the refs looking for calls on Dallas?

Again ill also say, Dez bottles up this offense so much that the passing game is stuck in nuetral when he's in the game. The normal crowd will again call me crazy and a Dez hater. The field is open whenever Dez isnt in the game and the routes run fluid across the field.

Dallas def started the game very good, but it just seems the refs took the air away from the team. I usually stay away from blaming refs but this game was just a bad officiated game against Dallas. I wouldnt even mention it if it was a bad officiated game both ways but it was amazing how many calls went on Dallas and how bad those calls were.

Dak was off but again i go back to something i see every week. These routes that are run when Dez is on the field just bottles everything up and theres just nothing there. But i just say watch the routes and how open guys are when Dez is off the field. TW and Beasley eat up any defense over the middle on these few plays where half the field isnt dedictaed to Dez.

This was a very bad game for the coaching staff. Reguardless of the refs poor job they coached a bad game. When Dallas was up 7-0 they tried to get cute and bad things happened.

Anthony Brown again went back to his 2017 form in having another horrible game.

Jaylon Smith need to be removed from the MIKE. He doesnt have the strength or the ability to cut a dig his foot into the ground to hold up vs the run. Moving him to WILL will free him up some.

I'll Tell everybody when Dallas lost this game. 1st drive in the 3rd quarter first 3rd down Marinelli removes the entire starting DL except Irving and inserts Taco Mayowa and Neal. Why? I have no idea the half just started the starters couldnt have been tired. Falcons start to run on Dallas and go on to score. The next drive the same thing happens, Marinelli removes the starters and ATL runs out the 3rd quarter. Marinelli's subs are boardline stupidity. He never allowed the DL to get any rythem.

Dallas i think bounces back vs philly after that bad game and gets the win. Every yr the media want to push Philly down everybodys throats when they win.

Alfred Morris will eat up clock on any team if they give him touches.

Yep

When I seen Dez returns to practice plans to play, I knew we were in trouble

This guy is flat out in the way

Williams and Butler run the routes that Dak throws the best, but we're stuck with this guy

As usually, great observation. You contributions to the site are always top-notch. My biggest beef is something just isn't right, something smells like this team is lost and cant find its MOJO. I'm sure the Zeke suspension, being in Atlanta and Jerry Jones - Arthur Blank feud played a part.

But what gets me is the coaching staff, is someone holding them back from doing what needs to be done or are they just incompetent? Hows does a JAG, get 6 sacks against this OL and NO one on the coaching staff saw a problem.

There has to be more going on inside the locker room then the fans know. This is not the same Cowboy team we say last week against the Chiefs.

The QB is much more sure of himself at home than he is on the road. It's night and day w or w/o Zeke.

Is it all on him? Is it scheme? Personnel?

This offense struggled in 2009 away from home.

I don't know

I don't know

Wasn't Dak in High School in 2009 and Romo was our QB?

So if two franchise QBs both struggle in away games, the common denominator seems to be coaching. I think I would look there first for the real issue of what is wrong with this team.

when u watch foodbal 4 43 years u know a bust when u c 1

Ive been watching for 50 years and I think Dak is fine. Every time we had a drive started we got a holding or Green would get abused and the drives fizzed out. It was a bad day. Now if the staff could devise a plan where we take advantage of Daks legs
while Smith and Zek are out it could help our chances. More coaching issues than QB issues.

I'll be surprised if we can run the ball on Philly with Green at LT and Morris as the primary back.

I'm as down on Dez as anyone but he actually played decent at least early in this game.

Jaylon shouldn't be on the field at any position unless he is rushing the passer. Ever.

Alfred Morris is not a clock chewer. He is a serviceable RB in the zone scheme. He can't break tackles at the line, or doesn't have any moves is his issue.

Again, this is wrong. Beasley and Williams only get opportunities to get open because of how much attention Dez gets. It's not Dez' fault that this scheme doesn't do ANYTHING to get him open.

I see a lot of good from Dak but he must have perfect team surrounding him.

There are not very many GREAT QBs anymore... we just let one walk out the building due to his injury history, give Dak sometime i think he could be a Top 12 QB in league but again he's going to need a lot of help to make that happen. starting with a True #1 WR, getting his RB back, and getting a True RT and moving LC back to Guard. that will fix the offense IMO... Football is a team sport not many teams have a QB that can carry a team with scrubs around them ALA Brady or Rodgers.

1 more thing we need to draft another QB this year 1 - 3rd just incase he turns into RGIII or any of the other mobile QB's that are vogue right now.

I don't think we bounce back against Philly. In fact, I think it's going to be a statement game by the Iggles when they trounce us.

I greatly enjoy and appreciate your calm, objectively analytical posts (this from one who tends to overreact to Cowboys setbacks). Your discussion of the "Dez problem" strikes me as spot on...
