Dallas is very bad on special teams coverage and returns. Losing Harris and Spillman has hurt so much. But anybody trying to argue that Dallas shouldnt have let Harris leave is crazy. 17mil for him was way too much. And Spillman is just a lost cause off the field.

McFadden IMO has sewed up this starting RB spot. IMO he is the complete RB Dallas wants. He even showed how much he has improved on his blitz pickups. Had a crushing block on a blitzing LBer.

Its clear Dallas needs WRs. Its clear Dallas needs to draft a QB because Romo's time is numbered. And to me its been clear Dallas needs to draft a FS. Id rather them sign one on FA. This defense is young enough. They need more experience.

Carr is the weak link in the CBs.

Best OL in the NFL. What a difference a capable QB can do for the OL when the defense cant just line up 8-9 in the box every down.

Speaking of Cassell i think he will be fine, it was his first game. Dallas coaches did him no favors on that last drive. If not for a great play by Merriweather on 3rd down thats a TD throw. And on 4th down i have no idea why Dallas had so many TEs instead of WRs spreading them out. Cassell was able to find people wide open when they spread the defense out.

IM glad Hardy put Dez in his place in whatever was said or not said. Dez has no place to talk because ur not even playing. Talk when you start playing. But dont get in Hardys way because he aint having it. Love his attitude. Put up or shut up. Play or get out of my face.

The more i see Lawrence play the more i get infuriated because i know Dallas couldve drafted Derek Carr with that trade up instead of a bad DE. I realy have no idea why he is even starting. MIncey is clearly the better player.

IMO Dallas has to win 8 more games to make the playoffs. I think 10-6 takes this divison. IDK if they can do it.

Right now i think they miss the playoffs.

No way the Giants only have 3 losses on their schedule. 9-7 will get it done. We just have to sweep the rest of our division games and beat Tampa.

Brandon Carr is the biggest chump on the team. The guy is supposed to be a team leader (considering how much he's paid) yet he was standing there like a spectator when Hardy was berating the special teams unit. Even Heath was pulling him back. Carr's whole body language reminds me of Newman in his final year - nonchalant. Not picking up the 5th year option on Mo is going to hurt this offseason. The secondary is a mess. Wilcox looks like Roy Williams after eating all of the biscuits. Did you see him try to run down Harris? What happened to the athlete at George Southern.

Beasley got 4/13.6 and Harris got 5/17.5m. It was a choice and we chose the slot receiver over the WR4/KR, but the money isn't outrageous. Plus we had to keep Lucky instead of a more well rounded WR.
Beasley has been a big disappointment since Dez went down and has down nothing on STs.

How can you have any production with Weeden as your QB? What have teams done since Dez has been out? Take away the middle of the field. Where are Beasleys catches? they have dared Dallas to go deep and witten has lived in the flats. Thats all thats open. Beasley was Dallas' only mismatch and teams have covered it.

That makes him a luxury that only works when things are perfect. For the same money we keep Harris and improve immensely on STs. Beasley is not Edelman or Welker like we thought.

8-8 will not get it done due to tiebreakers coming into play, losing to NFC teams isn't helping. I even think that 9-7 is pushing it.

Lets say that 9-7 wins the division..........we are 7 wins away. I will be generous and let Dallas get one win before Romo arrives. That means that Dallas will have to win 6 of 7 to close out the season. It is a tough schedule and nothing is guaranteed that Romo will be his usual self coming off injury.

Dallas can't play mistake free games, especially two-three-five in a row. They are in trouble and the light at the end of the tunnel is barely flickering :(

Lawrence isn't a bad defensive end. Mincey has given us nothing other than the Philadelphia game. He's strictly a power player. Haven't watched the tape of this game, but what I have seen this year D-Law has done a good job getting up field and still assuming is run responsibilities. The sacks aren't there, but that doesn't mean he's a bad player. The guy is basically a rookie so I think some of our expectations were too high.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Bryant seems to think of himself that what he has to say is very important. So important that he has to tell it to erveybody who does or does not wants to hear it.
Everytime i see Bryant trying to get involved in everything i nearly have to puke. Its time someone shows Bryant that what he has to say is not nearly as important as he thinks it is. Just ST/U.

And this has nothing to do with playing or not.

The mood here is that we still have chance because Romo will be back. Without that hope this board would have gone nuts already. But everybody is still calm.

Lets see what happens when Romo returns and we lose the 1. game with him big time.

Put Dez in his place? That's an inapt description. Hardy was pissed because of the special teams play and Dez was trying to calm him down.

Are you talking about the ball that was underthrown by at least 10 yards? The one that traveled in the air for about 5 seconds? I saw a Chris Jones punt that had less hang time, and I am not exaggerating.

Everything went to crap when Romo got hurt.

There is only so far you can take this one when they are finding new and creative ways to lose.

Right now, the whole team is bad. In all three phases. If one unit does well enough to win, another does poor enough to lose.

There is consistently someone not doing their job and nobody is making plays.

that pretty much sums it up. one unit does great ,the other unit craps the bed.

And what is equally frustrating is the complete inability to handle momentum. Versus Atlanta, they were on the ropes and got right up and took the game. The Saints game was about to be a miracle finish after the TD and then immediately there is the TD to Spiller. Last night, the Street TD should have been a turning point, yet the special teams blew it.

It's impressive how well McFadden ran this week, compared to previous weeks.
Glad we had a very good showing from one of backs.

Same ole story overall though. No takeaways, but we gladly gave the ball to the Giants too many times, again.
And like Alexander posted, we find ways to blow any time of momentum right away.

Draft a QB? Don't you know the miss rate on QB's is astronomical? How many franchise QB's came out of the last 10 drafts?

We'll never draft a QB in the high rounds. Why do that when we can draft another DL ???

Romo will play for another 5 years and NEVER get hurt. Why develop a young QB only to see him leave?
