]I'm utterly disgusted with this team. From Jerry all the way to the last guy on the roster.
Plenty not to like but they are not always wrong.
What in the hell was this team thinking in terms of the wr situation. How do you not even keep Tolbert active. If Brown and Houston were what you were going to go with why wouldn't you dip into freeagency for a guy like Will Fuller, Cole Beasley, or even go snag Malik Turner.
I don’t think the wide receivers are the problem. Maybe you will turn out to be right, but they were open enough that I am willing to wait and see on the team’s decision there.
How the front office allows Moore to continue to call plays or still has a job is infuriating to me. Every team knows he doesn't change anything. Every week is the same game plan up by 30 or down by 10 nothing is going to change with this clown. Elliott was looking really good 8 for 46 in the first half, ans ended the game 10 for 52. Put Dallas' qbs in bd situations with 2 man routes, with its qbs in shotgun. That leaves the defense able to defend the pass easy while still getting pressure up the gut.
Yeah. I think you are right on Moore. It would not bother me for Jerry to send him packing immediately.
Tyler Smith is going to be one of the best LTs in the nfl by the end of the yr. He dominated Barrett all game. And no Peter's should not be lt but rather inside at lg this week. When tyron is back he should be on the bench watching Tyler.
Yeah, I thought he looked pretty good against a pretty strong Tampa Bay front. Pretty nice start to his young career. Small sample size, but it’s looking like he started out well and his arrow is pointing up. Let’s give Jerry and Co some level of props here.
Dak prescott made some horrible throws. To his defense the guy had NOBODY to throw to. When the defense saw Moore was abandoning the run, they came up the gut and got in daks face which ultimately ended up getting him injured.
Dak had guys open, he just failed to see them or threw behind them. In DK’s defense it would have helped if he had more time, but as a top 10 paid QB he should be able to go through his progressions at an elite clip. Dak can’t do that.
Lamb might be a #1 but he needs to do alot better.
Lamb isn’t doing much damage right now, but I think Dak frustrates him —a lot. Stay tuned on this one. I don’t think Lamb is a malcontent but any stretch of the imagination, but his body language indicates significant frustration with Dak.
Dan Quinn needs to be this teams HC. The way he has coached up this defense the rest of the team needs to be handled the same way. Just seems like there's accountability on defense that isn't there on offense.
That sounds great in theory, but based on appearances, Jerry and MM are leaving him alone and letting him do his job. He is choosing his players and playing them how he wants to play them.
MM is in a totally different situation. He is stuck with Moore and Dak. That does not seem to be a recipe for success for MM. you
The run defense was fine until it got wore out from continuous 3 and outs. It was a 9pt game until late in the 3rd.
I don’t know what to think about the run defense. It looks like they played ok at times. They also looked really bad at others. I think the jury is still out on this. Playing assignment sound football might shore this up a little with the same personnel.
Now for the elephant in the room with Broadus saying from people on the team Mccarthy won't take over play calling because he doesn't know the offense. If this is true why is he even the HC.
See my response above. Jerry and Co do a lot of things right that they do not get credit for. But this is one of the “oh ****” categories that wipes out a whole lot of “atta boys”. Moore is a very weak link that is killing this team.

It’s how it will happen.
Mccarthy will be fired mid season, Quinn takes over. Quinn gets new head coaching job elsewhere next year and then Payton signs here
