Holley can play the X WR spot. So can Hurd, seemingly, but he has to prove he can stay healthy. No other receiver on this team can CONSISTENTLY play the physical game that the X WR position demands (I'm talkin backups here - obviously Roy Willimas can play the X and is the clear starter there).
No, not even Crayton can play the X well. Austin and Ogleteree are clear-cut Y receivers (again, talking backups here - Crayton is the obvious Y receiver on this team and a darn good one). So don't count Holley out. He's having a very good preseason, both at WR and on specials and he can play the X.
The X WRs right now, in order, are Roy Williams, Sam Hurd, and Jesse Holley
The Y WRs right now, in order are Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin, and Ogletree.
There's a good chance Dallas goes 6-deep at WR and keeps both Holley and Ogletree, since both primary backups at the X and Y WR spots (i.e. Hurd and Austin) are always injured.
And if Dallas decides to go 5-deep, don't be so sure Ogletree beats Holley out because any team would keep an X WR over a Y, simple because an X can usually play both X and Y, but Ys struggle to play the X.
The Non-factor in all of this IMHO is Stanback; too raw and too injured. He also projects as a Y WR, but right now Ogletree is outplaying him as a Y.
