If Bijan were gone, would you go with Gibbs instead? I'd certainly consider that! I think the Cowboys should maneuver so as to get 2 picks in the range 32 to 41.
No, Dallas has Gibbs in Pollard. I'd draft one of the guards or try and trade down. And draft a RB later.

Israel Abanikanda
RoshonJohnson
Eric Gray
Zach Evans
Jordan Mims

Give me any one of these guys

Yeah, I like Israel Abanikanda. So does Tony Dorsett... I think there's a lot of value in the lower rounds for RB... Although it's boring, I bet Dallas will pick a guard in the first round. Bijan would be a reason not to, in my opinion.

Current needs:

Starters - NT, 3T, TE, Center
Depth - QB, RB, Edge, IOL, OT, WR
Extensions - Diggs, CD, Hooker
Think we are fine with 3T - Osa Odighizuwa played well last year- need depth because I think Gallimore will be cut.
Hankins did what we needed him to do so I hope he is resigned for the NT.

To be blunt with you, Hankins is a 1T and you have no clue what you're talking about if you think he can play 3T. He's a 345 pound run stopper, with limited pass rush effectiveness.

Hankins has played both positions before so once again you are clueless

With Gilmore and Cooks traded for and add in Vander, and those 3 needs you can take off of the need at 26. That leaves G, RB, as the biggest needs. Well NT but we all know they'll never draft one this early if it all. As much as media is saying TE the only TE worth a RD1 pick is Mayer. The rest are big reaches. The game tape doesn't match the combine. They play limited and need alot of development. There is way better value later with guys like Kraft and Lachlan. Kraft interests me the most. If he was in the SEC he'd be aTop 15 pick IMO.

So that leaves G, and RB of course BPA , but if Bijan is there he'd clearly be the BPA.

GUARDS
ROUND1
O'Cyrus Torrence
John Michael Schmitz
ROUND2
Steve Avila

IMO Dallas would have to draft Torrence or Schmitz in round 1, reach a little for Schmitz because he won't be there probably going early 2nd. I'd prefer Schmitz because oof his pass blocking. His run game needs a little work but it's easier to coach that than pass blocking which Torrence needs help with. That and his ability to play C. His knock are the shorter arms.

Then there's RB, Bijan Robinson. Do you take the best player in the draft, or pass up a a star because media tells you dont draft iRbs in round 1. IMO if he's there I think Dallas locksnin and takes a guy like Avila in round 2.

When it's all said and done, you ant pass on elite talent. Are the 2 guards so much better than Avila? Are the TEs even first rounders? If Bijan is there at 26, with what the team has done in FA Bijan is the easy choice IMO.
I am sorry brother but I have seen few mocks that have Torrance and Schmitz rated over Kincaid and Washington. I will say this those 4 players probably have someone in the Cowboys draft room banging the table for them.

In no way would Dallas ever consider doing this but given their current draft grades are the 1st and 2nd rounds, can you imagine if Dallas went:

1st round: OG O'Cyrus Torrence 6' 4" 347 pounds of mauler with immediate starting LG skills

2nd round: OG/C Steve Avila 6' 3" 332 pounds of strong lineman who can start at center and has the ability to play OG as well (Zack Martin is not getting any younger)

Dallas would instantly reset their OL for years to come with LT Tyler Smith (6' 6" 332 pounds), LG Torrence (6' 4" 347 pounds), C Avila (6' 3" 332 pounds).....that is a great young group that tops the scales at over 1,100 pounds!!!!
You don't like the Eagles, Giants and Commanders do ya? Talk about rebuilding your front. Any RB but 1 should get at least 5-6 yards a run behind them.

The way it looks to me there aren't many great DT options in the draft. Will Ika or Benton fall to 58? I kind of doubt it. Does Roy or Pickens float your boat?

Draft your WR in round 1 and finish upgrading the offense; get your RB in rounds 2-4.

There's a number of RD2, maybe trade down end of R1 guards ... Tippmann, Bergeron, even the OK tackle can play guard.
