Like Parcells said, you win in the trenches.

I don't see us getting Jaret Allen but I hope we sign Alexander from SD as our third WR

WIth that being said, my draft would look like this

1st-16 Tim Jernigan DT-Even with Melton, we still need a starter at DT
2nd-47 Trent Murphy DE-Rotation of Crawford, Selvie, Mincey and Murphy would be good
3rd-78 Jack Mewhort OT-Starter for next year when Free is released
4th-115 Anthony Steen OG-Potential starter next year
5th-146 Marqueston Huff S-Potential starter next year
6th Max Bullough LB Trade 2 7ths to move into 6th
7th Prince Shembo LB
7th Jay Prosch FB-great blocker
7th Rob Blanchflower TE-great blocker that can catch, Trade Hanna
7th Jermey Gallon WR-speed slot guy
7th Traded

Based upon this the DL and OL are set and now a potential strength now and in the future

Thoughs?

Though(t)s?

The Cowboys are doubtful to draft a 1-tech in the 1st round.

He's not that quick or explosive, especially for a guy that only weighs 250 lbs.

3rd-78 Jack Mewhort OT-Starter for next year when Free is released
I would be ok with this pick, but I think there are going to be better OLinemen available at this pick. If a guy like Billy Turner is available here, I would take him all day over Mewhort.

4th-115 Anthony Steen OG-Potential starter next year
Low upside type player. He'll be ready sooner than some others, but his upside is very limited.

5th-146 Marqueston Huff S-Potential starter next year
Good pick here.

6th Max Bullough LB Trade 2 7ths to move into 6th
Way too slow. Marinelli and McClay put a premium on speed. Bullough's best fit would be as a 3-4 ILB.

7th Prince Shembo LB
Good pick.

7th Jay Prosch FB-great blocker
I think Millard is more versatile and more of what the Cowboys would be looking for if they draft a FB.

7th Rob Blanchflower TE-great blocker that can catch, Trade Hanna
I wouldn't be surprised to see them draft a blocking TE, but I don't think Hanna has trade value.

7th Jermey Gallon WR-speed slot guy
The Cowboys already have 2 slots guys. They need to add an outside receiver. I don't see them drafting a 5'7 WR at this point.

7th Traded
I wouldn't draft Bullough here and definitely wouldn't trade up for him.

Marqueston Huff is rising in the eyes of some scouts right now. Millard is a guy Belicheat is supposed to have eyes for.
