Since I'm posting this on Christmas eve, I hope y'all have a wonderful and safe holiday.

Now let get down to business!!!

As y'all know this is my 2nd year on this forum and I hardly make any threads regarding the Cowboys just out of respect for the moderators and everyone here. I don't even trash talk when the Cowboys play my Rams, that how much respect I have for y'all and Cowboys nation as a whole. But by goodness did that Eagles game pisses me off! And you know what, its about time, that time of year where you get everything off your chest to start the new season with a clean sheet!

Now everyone of y'all hate the Eagles, well I hate Carson Wince. I don't like the Eagles or their fans, but when Wince is playing, I enjoy watching him lose just as much as I enjoy watching my Rams win. I don't respect Wince enough to call by his real name until...the Cowboys game. Hatred or not, I got to give credit where credit is due, and it eats my soul to give Wentz his name back because of how much he impressed me last week.

DAK...on the other hand played atrocious. Here you are asking for 40 millions a year and your sorry butt can't beat an Eagles team with 2nd and 3rd stringers on defense? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? You are not elite, you are barely average if that even true. Where the hell did you get the ego to think you are worth more than 30 millions a year? Why should you even be the highest paid QB in the league? You haven't done jack. Goff took the Rams to the Superbowl, Carson Wentz had an MVP year and would have won it. You ~(Dak)~ weren't even good enough to be pick no earlier than the 4th round. The audacity of these athletes put a foul odor in my mouth.

Since I'm an outsider with an neutral view, anyone who think Dak is a top 10 QB as shown from @erod thread, let me ask you this question.

How many games do you think the Bengals, Dolphins, Giants, Commanders would win with Dak as QB? Dak has one of the best roster in the NFL, the best O-line, a premiere RB, and the Cowboys currently have a losing record. Hmm...think about that. Sure Garrett is a bad coach, but Daks throws awful balls. An elite coach can draw up the best game-plan but its still up to Daks to execute.

You think anyone else in the entire league would want him especially in the range of 30+ millions? Any GM that sign Dak should be FIRE IMMEDIATELY!!! Unless you're Jerry himself :muttley:

Edit: Merry X/Christmas Y'all!

Yeah, your boy Goff’s been exposed far more than any other young QB this season. Save for maybe Baker Mayfield.

Dak didn’t play well in Philly.

His receivers were also garbage and Dak’s still been “good” FAR more often than “bad” through 4 years.

Cute post.

Perhaps this is where the transition tag is perfect.. put the tag on and just see what other teams want to pay. I think Jerry will be very very surprised.

Wentz completed 25 out of 31 passes to RB's and TE's sitting down in the zone. Even Goff could do that.

Dak hasnt thrown all week and had injections during the week. He reportedly was on strong pain medicine for his shoulder. This numb feeling can lead to a few overthrows.

Goff looks like a deer in headlights and your RB is why its hard for guys like Zeke to get fairly compensated.

Let compare shall we! I love a good ole thrashin'...I mean comparison!

Cowboys - #1 O-line, Zeke
Rams - #32 O-line, no running game

I rest my case

Wentz didn't have a single starter from the receiving corp playing. His only choice was to throw to TE's and RB's. Dallas knew this and still couldn't stop it.

Using his full name in the title for dramatic effect? What are your thought on Ezekiel Elijah Elliott?

Zeke is no different from Gurley, they both lack heart the moment they got paid. Zeke seem bigger than even last year and of course slower. Though he was never fast to began with. Why is he constantly asking to sit out? He still a very good running back but can't run when the line doesn't open up. He not a generational talent and neither is Gurley. I don't know why people throw that terms around like its money on tree. A generatonal talent at RB position is anyone that can run even when there is no O-line. I can only think of four example in the past 20 years. Steven Jackson, Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, and Saquon Barkley.

Generational talent are extremely rare so not every elite back is a generational back.

That just Goff face :lmao2:

Oh and it wasn't just overthrown, don't forget underthrown and behind the back passes as well.

Recency bias gone wild. This team hasn't fired on all 3 cylinders but a couple of times this year (first philly game and the rams). Our starting field position is last in the league, our special teams sucks, our defense doesn't show up/get turnovers (gotta be bottom of the league there, too) and we still have to be one of the worst teams with drops. Add in players across the board acting like they don't give a crap and an inept HC Coach that refuses to even entertain the idea of scheming for opponents (we play our game, we focus on us, beat the man in front of you, do your job, fight, scratch and claw, finish...) and I fail to understand how a really banged-up Dak playing really badly for one game is the scapegoat of this season. He's not elite and will likely never be, but he's not the problem.

If anything, Dak's kept this team afloat, because I can think of several QBs that people fawn over that would've sunk if they've had to deal with all of the FO/Coaching ineptitude and Dallas Extravaganza BS that comes with the job. It takes a special kind of person to QB this Dallas team, especially post-Aikman. It sucks, it's not right, but this environment would chew up so many of these top young QBs.

Steven Jackson was generational?

The week prior. Didn’t Goff play like absolute dog crap, in a loss that eliminated the Rams from playoff contention?

or did I just dream that?

perhaps I dreamt it.

Do you mean against the 49ers or Cowboys? Cowboys didn't eliminate the Rams. Goff was on fire in the 49ers game (minus the pick 6) and no running game against a vaulted defense. Dominated most of the game and should have won if the defense didn't choke and if McVay wasn't awful at clock management.

Steven Jackson was generational?

Yes, he still put up big yards despite teams stacking the box against him because that Rams team on offense was garbage. He very underrated. He a bigger stronger Marshawn Lynch but he play for one of the worst Rams team of all time.
