Trysten Hill- Right about where we took Collins 3 years ago. We just have to wait and see how he takes to coaching. The tools are all there to be a dynamic player. If he takes to coaching and develops counters, he could become a bigger Geno Atkins.
Conner McGovern- Seems like good value. Could be a walk in starter with alot of teams. Give us depth at all three interior spots in 2019. Big question is how does the line look after that in 2020 if we shift Williams to RT.
Tony Pollard- The more I watch this guy the more intrigued I am. He brings a lot of speed to the table, and is a much more rounded player than Dunbar was. However its gonna be all in how you use him, as he is not quite a true HB, not quite a true WR.
Mike Jackson- Probably a lock for the 5th CB spot, because who else is there? He is the tall, long and athletic type Richard favors. However, if they need a player to play 70% or more snaps in 2020 will he be ready by then? CB is a sneaky big need for this team with all the snaps set to become FA's in 2020.
Jackson gets a good look this year, but expect it to possibly be our biggest need in 2020
Joe Jackson- I see him being an effort player who can come off the bench and make a splash play on a long drive. Stephan Bowen before his breat out year
Donovan Wilson- Has a chance to stick if he can beat out Frazier. Frazier is going into the last year of his contract, so if all things are equal Wilson could have the edge. However I dont know if Wilson is a player you want to see getting defensive snaps at this point in his career. Kind of an erratic player that can get you a big hit, big penalty or a big play.
Mike Weber- Weber is likely battling Darius Jackson for the back up HB spot. Id give Weber the advantage because he is already the more polished player. As a backup he gives you a player that doesnt have to come off the field on passing downs and that adds alot of value for a backup.
Jalen Jelks- Tons of upside. Needs alot of on his body. Im more interested in seeing how he comes into the 2020 camp than what he does in 2019. He has RDE potential
