- The kicking game.. what can you say? It's directly costed us 2 games this year. How can Cundiff make a 56 yarder one week and miss a 34 yarder the next? It's sour grapes but this team should be 9-1 right now if they had a decent kicker.
- Parcells coaching style is about 10 years outdated, it just isn't working. We played a perfect "Parcells style" game (dominated TOP) and still lost. The play calling was horrible..that 3rd and 1 screen pass to Glenn on the 2 minute drive in the 4th was stupid. I don't know who called that but why not just run it with Barber.. and if you absolutely have to call that play then throw it to Keyshawn, who took 2 screen's for big gains already in the game.
- Terrance Newman and Roy Williams are finally living up to the hype, they both made game changing plays.
- Rob Pettiti and Marco Rivera are TERRIBLE football players.. seriously. I hate them, and I usually don't *hate* players, as much as I may dislike them.. but I really hate Pettiti and Rivera, they are utterly useless. The line was no worse off with Andre Gurode at guard.. and BTW, Matt Lehr is a pro bowl candidate for Atlanta right now. Maybe we just need some good coaching.
- Zimmer's blitzing scheme (if you can even call it that) is crap now. We have maybe 2 or 3 different blitzes and that's it.. watching the way Denver confused our offense today with their blitzing schemes made me dream of the day when we get to have a true D-Coordinator. The book on picking up Zimmer's blitzes is out and every coach has it.
- When you play these conservative games that Parcells likes to coach your chances to win are 50/50..it just pisses me off so much that he has no killer instinct. He's perfectly content with dicking around all game and hoping a few breaks go our way. His coaching style puts us in a position where a coin flip could decide it, and that happened today... literally.
- Witten is the best TE in the NFC, I don't care what the stats say. He was open all day and we should have gone to him more.
