1. Horrible officiating. And most of it -without a doubt- went against the cowboys, be it a bad call, or a bad non-call.
2. Our OL is really good at pass blocking. Not so good (not bad either though) at run blocking. It seems our OL run blocks by getting to their man and trying to hold him up. The eagles' OL were getting to their man and drive blocking them out of the way. I'd like to see our OL get more movement in the running game.
3. Felix Jones... wow. Still too soon to make any definitive conclusions about him, but so far... he's looking pretty freakin' good.
4. Marion "The Barbarian" Barber... nuff said.
5. Our defense needs to get a killer instinct. Some of those sacks McFlabb escaped would not have been escaped if our defenders had a "I WANT TO KILL YOU" mentality.
6. Going back to #1 a bit, we win this game by 3+ TDs if not for the 10-14 points GIVEN to the Eagles cuz of bad calls/non-calls and another 7 due to the Romo Fumble. If this game is called even (not implying it was called uneven on purpose) then it's not even a close game.
7. Anyone that still questions Roy's love for the game, just look on the sidelines after Ware's sack at the end of the game. People that don't love the game wouldn't be cheering like crazy like that while they're arm is in a cast. We're gonna miss him more than some of you haters think.
8. I want to see Felix on offense more. Maybe they don't feel comfortable with his knowledge of the offense right now, I don't know. I hope he gains the coaches trust cuz I want to see him get more touches on offense, and I mean meaningful touches.
9. The only reason our kickoff team gave up that one big return was cuz it was a sorry kick by Folk. I'm pleasantly surprised at our kickoff team so far. I still think our punt team needs a bit more work though.
10. I'm proud of myself, I didn't break anything this game (although I did try to break a mag-lite... those things are pretty dang durable).
