hope this doesnt blow up in the future...TO getting the ball only fuels his ego....then when he doesnt get it he blows up so dont think this is over by any stretch of the imagination...lets see what happens next week when we start getting blitzed like crazy...truthfully i dont know why the texans stopped blitzing...i am happy they did because we would have been in trouble IMO.

But next week the gints are going to load them up and come on every passplay...bledsoe is a statue back there

thank god our defense did something. But no sacks? gotta do something about that...play ratliff more IMO....can he passrush from ware's spot when we give him a rest which is what we need to do...maybe thats why ware had problems today...he needs rest...

love how JJ is running but without TO it would be 3.8 city....i only hope and pray we can keep TO for the season. No one with any knowledge of football thinks so. Tom Jackson said cut him. Ditka said he's done. Irvin is the only who wants to keep him because he doesnt know what he is talking about. If TO keeps laying out coaches he will be gone. Like I said this was the Texans, let's see what happens next week against the Gints, then after that when we go and play Carolina...teams like that when Bledsoe will be on his butt cause we cant stop the blitz.

Regarding the blitz. Why are four linemen blocking down on two defensive linemen? I saw that today and then Ryan came right in and sacked bledsoe....doesnt make sense to me. These guys need to anticipate the blitz. If they dont we are a sub 500 team IMO...They need to block smarter...man on man and help out only IF THERE IS NO BLITZ...OTHER TEAMS KNOW THIS WHY DONT THEY?

all in all we did what we should have...we won...against a pretty weak team...now if we can duplicate this over the next 4 games then I am sold on us...the next 4 games will be tough...stopping the blitz and TO not blowing up because we cant get him the ball.

I disagree. It was JJ's 33 yard run that broke the game open and stopped the Texans from blitzing

Stsinaz makes some good points. The bad news is that if the Texans don't self-destruct we probably would not have won. Our D did a lot to cause the t/os and the good news is our O took advantage and blew the doors off. I was VERY pleasantly suprised at Vandy's k/os. I thought they were pretty good. But the next few games are going to be brutal and I don't have confidence in the OL but it looks like Romo can come in if Bledsoe gets killed...

are you asking what happened with us winning? or are you asking why i only used blow up three times? i think its the latter...something else that should be noted is this...if TO wouldnt have been out on his booksignings and his nationwide interview tour AND been with bledsoe in the offseason catching balls, what happened today could have happened in the jacksonville game! the guy just doesnt think ahead...he thought he had enough time in training camp but obviously he didnt take into consideration his failing body that has been getting injured alot lately....too bad he didnt have foresight...

I'm not convinced that fewer public appearances by TO would have helped in Jax. He chickened in that game and made no attempt to catch the ball because he didn't want to get hit going actoss the middle. He did the same thing last week against Philly. One of those ESPN analysts (Merrill Hodge??) used the term "alligator arms" for these lacks of plays. MHO is that if he does it a 3rd time he should be cut. If Crayton can take a hit going across the middle, so can TO...
