Really excited to see Dak back in 2021, and theres no doubt in my head he will be a MVP contender. IMO the way he started 2020 he wouldve broke records. This yr i dont see it being any different. He is going to light the NFL up.

Moving on to Elliot, IDK if this whole i seen the light and im going to worl the offseason is true. I have to see it on the field to believe it, instead of these 5 second clips. If he did dedicate himself, theres no defense that can touch him. Last yr he ran behind backups and 3rd stringers with bad QBs. But go back to 2019 a season people were saying was a down yr for him, he had 1357 yrds 12 td 420 yrds rec 2 tds. Soak that into your brain, people were actually calling that a down yr for him. I sincerly hope this best shape of my life talk isnt just talk. If he is, IDC who they play nobody will be able to stop this offense.

From what being reported the OL is basically already set. Smith|Williams|Badiazs|Martin|Collins and i have no problems with that. Smith had the surgery we have wanted him to have for a few yrs now and Collins looks like a Mini Tyron. Williams gets a tough break, but last yr he started off really good, then the injuries started and he had to compensate for Knight and Looney. He's not good enough to do that. You put him with Tyron and a seasoned Biadasz and i think he's just fine.

I think the team has to go in with a open comp for starting TE. Schultz did great last yr and he gave Dallas Jarwin never will and thats blocking.

I was disappointed the team didnt get something for Gallup because he isnt going to be on the team in 2022. But if you think about it they will end up getting a RD3 comp pick most likely. And the production in 2021. Lamb i think is going to overtake Gallup this yr but IMO Dallas #1 is still Amari and its not close right now.

NFL i think is going to get to know Randy Gregory this yr. The guy is too fast for OTs and has actually filled out his body. He should be ready and in football shape going into this yr. If he takes that step, i expect Lawrence to blow up. Hes another player that gets alot of flack, but he's the best run defending DE in the league and teams focus so much on him the past 2 yrs the DEs opposite him have reaped the rewards.

DT IDK what to think right now. I have zero to say right now because this yr we have no idea what we are going to see. Alot of role playing guys. To be determined here

LB, i think Parsons is going to light it up. He is what Jaylon Smith was pre injury. Jaylon and Vander Esch arent scrubs, Vander has a injury concern and Smith just needs to be played in an attacking role plain and simple. Nolan seemed to get it the 2nd half of the yr and he made alot of plays. I dont think he can handle a scheme with alot of movement. When it seemed like he had a set job and he new it he was at his best. So i think he will end up being a expensive backup this yr. Hope that Cox gets a chance to compete. He excells in what the team wanted Jaylon to do last yr and what they brought in neal to do this yr.

Secondary, i think will be an improvement. The cover 3 keeps it simple and keep everything in front of them and pushing it to the outside. Of course this all depends on the DL getting to the QB. If theres no pressure QBs will have all day to throw. I was rough on Diggs at the start last yr then it just clicked and he finished the yr playing really good. Lewis Is Dallas' best all around DB IMO. Im hoping Joseph brings that attitude. People start griping when a rookie is confident, but say he doesnt got it when theyre reserved. I like his attitude. Think we are going to see a intimidator in Wilson. Just gotta see what this team has in Kazee.

Dallas has the numbers on defense, just gotta see if them numbers have quality. Especially on the DL. If its more of the same then they arent going anywhere.

If Fehoko is the steal people seem to think then id still like to see this team try and move Gallup from some DL help.

I think you hit the nail on the head here. Last season he was hampered by multiple injuries, a makeshift O-line blocking, and poor backup QBs. If Zeke has taken this off-season as seriously as he says, I think he can be special in 2021. :hammer:

Again, nail on the head.

I think the team has to go in with a open comp for starting TE. Schultz did great last yr and he gave Dallas Jarwin never will and thats blocking.

I'm going to disagree with you here. Jarwin is a Giant killer. In his last three games against the Giants, he has 11 catches for 200 yards and five touchdowns. He is just as capable against any team. Dak has better chemistry with Jarwin. If Schultz was blocking so good, Zeke would have done better. Just saying. ;)

I was disappointed the team didnt get something for Gallup because he isnt going to be on the team in 2022. But if you think about it they will end up getting a RD3 comp pick most likely. The crystal ball telling you lies about Gallup needs to have that hammer taken to it and smashed. Amari has a lingering ankle injury that will most likely cause him to start the season on the PUP list and may need season-ending surgery. Then again, he may fight through it and just have a miserable season. Either way, it leaves Gallup with an opportunity to shine even more and remind the Jones boys how valuable to this team he is.

NFL i think is going to get to know Randy Gregory this yr. The guy is too fast for OTs and has actually filled out his body. He should be ready and in football shape going into this yr. This D-line could be scary this year. Quinn is going to have these guys ready to light up the NFL. Gregory should have the best season of his career.

DT IDK what to think right now. I have zero to say right now because this yr we have no idea what we are going to see. Alot of role playing guys. To be determined here

I guess I see more than you do when it comes to our interior D-line. Bohanna and Odighizuwa have me excited. I also see Gallimore taking the next step in his evolution to becoming a force in this league.

He excells in what the team wanted Jaylon to do last yr and what they brought in neal to do this yr.

I have my own reservations about Parsons. IMO, he is more myth than man. LVE will be the comeback player of the year for this defense. He will be back to being the warrior we thought we had when we drafted him. Jaylon should never be in a position where he has to cover anyone ever again. You are right, attack role only for him.

Think we are going to see a intimidator in Wilson. Just gotta see what this team has in Kazee.

We are in agreement here. It all depends on the D-line putting pressure on the QB. But I'm extremely confident that is going to happen so I see this new secondary having much success as well.

Dallas has the numbers on defense, just gotta see if them numbers have quality. Especially on the DL. If its more of the same then they arent going anywhere.

D-line will be amazing, I'm convinced of it. In sync with our LBers, they are going to give QBs hell this season.

I've avoided threads just on Dak cause it's rinse and repeat.

However, IMO if we see Dak putting up numbers close to the 2020 numbers it's because the offense has had too many turnovers/the defense can't stop a D2 college team.

While I don't think McCarthy & Moore would ever be close to the Linehan playbook of running to set up the pass, I do believe if we could actually have leads early and often we wouldn't have to see Dak go close to 400 yards every game. With Zeke and Pollard and a healthy line it would be nice to see more ball control/running efficiency. I still see the best defense is keeping the offense on the field going into 2021.

The first sentence had me believing that this post was not based in reality, but then I kept reading and you had some good points after that. Kudos to you and let's hope you're right.

OL is a concern. Especially RT. Knight and Steele are not 1’s.

Coop is due 60 million in base over 2022-24. Likely his last season with us.

if the OL holds up, Zeke can help Dak a lot.

Side note on the Cover 3…

as a KRichard fan, will be good to see some LegionOfBoom back in Dallas.

Quinn should keep KRichard on speed dial. 8/

Elliott had Dak the first 5 games and a better line early and he ran worse than when Dalton was at QB. Running game averaged 2.7 YPC in the first quarter of 2020. Part of the reason we fell behind early. AS well as his fumbling problems.

You have no respect for Joe Whitt Jr. whatsoever, do you?

Thanks for the write up !
I am in the wait and see camp on Zeke as well.
Hopefully he will be improved.

Mr. Manbun Fehoko is the fool's gold of the draft. But I don't fret about it. UDFA WRs Vasher and Eagle are going to shock the world. Gallup and Lamb will be the 1-2 punch at WR in the future. Amari will struggle if he plays and I see him as mid-season trade bait.
Does anyone else find it kind of funny that someone posting on a Cowboys fan forum calling someone else posting on a Cowboys fan forum a homer like it's a bad thing? I mean, really, aren't we all Cowboys homers?

Not just a homer, but the "resident homer". It's an honorary position meant as a compliment. Something has gone wrong in your head to think otherwise. ;)

There was no Collins and Smith was playing hurt and wasn’t very effective.
