My Thoughts...

I haven't done this since last season, here are some of my thoughts in bullet form...

- looks like Roy Williams shook off the cobwebs a little after getting destroyed in the Denver game...glad to see him get out there and have a great game. Don't look now, but he led all receivers in yardage.

- Miles Austin is a ballplayer.

- Marion Barber showed why he is the best closer in the game.

- Romo's not playing too bad, eh? 9 TDs, 1 INT in the last month? I'll take it.

- Defense has to get better on 3rd downs, particularly 3rd and long. Too many "gimme" 1st downs for the Eagles that were otherwise shutdown plays on 1st and 2nd.

- Kevin Ogletree appears to be gaining a larger role week by week. He's magic on that screen play!

- VICTOR BUTLER. Is anyone else ready to see this guy get some more snaps? I knew he was going to be a player after watching him fly around the field in the first preseason game against Oakland.

That's it! Go Cowboys! 6-2!

Oh - and I guess this wasn't a big game anymore since we won? :D

I can honestly say that I've never been down on RW11. He's a great WR and kills defenses on slants.

I'd take that any day.

I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing this. The plays on 3rd and long that are being completed against us wouldn't be complete had it been 1st or 2nd down. Frustrating.

Give the guy more snaps.

Agree with all the positives. Huge win given the debacle last year. Only other negative is penalties. We'd score 35+ on anyone if we could stay out of our own way

Very good points everyone....1 question, what the heck was up with Buehler's kickoffs tonight? Most didn't get past the 5 yd line?

I did fail to mention penalties - unacceptable. Some were iffy, but the penalties that weren't iffy were mostly bonehead plays - especially 12 men on the field...that's just dumb.

I asked the same question in another thread. I was wondering if maybe it was some kind of strategy by DeCamillis.

Probably hoping that the coverage would get to the kick returner before he got to the 20 yard line? Thats the only thing I can think of.
