1. This may well be The Romo signature game.

I don't believe the 9ers game was as significant because after a week, even with an injection the ribs must have been excruciating.

2. Garrett better send the game film to the refs to stop this illegal calling snap counts. Maybe circle a few holding penalties against Ware as a bonus.

3. The play of the game - 3rd and 21 - was brilliant by Romo. Not to take anything away from him, but Dez recognized the issue and put himself in position to make the play. The kid is growing up.

When Romo, Austin, Jones and Dez heal, and this line comes together, well we all will be smiling.

4. Lee - this is the linebacker we've been waiting for. Two years from now he may be in the top three in the league. My opinion.

5. We still have tests coming, but this defense is stout.

6. Stop with the verkoctah injuries, okay, injury gods?

7. Sooner than we all think, Free will be the right tackle and Smith will move to the left.

8. Ogletree can't even line up correctly. Jerry anointed him this last week. That should have been our first clue. The Bobby Carpenter of WR. The only saving grace is he didn't cost a first.

9. Hello field goal kicker whose name I can't even remember. Where have you been?

10. Garrett, really, the run is important, but can we mix in a little play action off the run when we are close to the goal line?

Throw the freakin jump ball to Dez. Draw up that play. Do it tonight before you go to bed.

11. I have said for several years I wanted to see Romo be the leader. There will be people who argue this point, but tonight he showed what I have been asking for. He was a teacher, a leader and someone who holds these guys accountable.

I am not taking credit. Don't misunderstand. I am saying our little boy has grown up and they can take off the training wheels.

This is big. Really big.

I have to imagine that Dez was hurting too much, because there is no other reason imaginable why we didn't throw it to him on a fade or back shoulder at the 5 yard line. I assume he just doesnt have the verticle right now, because Hall was on him single coverage everytime.

I'll add one thing to your accurate thoughts. We will only go as far as our OL this season. With such a young team, we certainly have a decent chance to get better over the entire season.

And, as bad as it seemed tonight, it actually wasn't sooo bad. We ran for over 125 years and allowed 1 (count it) sack.

The 4 bad snaps, 2 holding penalties and the 1-2 offside penalties made it seem really bad, but those are correctable.

If we can get a point this season where we can do what we did tonight, while erasing the mistakes and being able to run in short yardage situations, this team could go far.

This is the thing holding us back at this point.

Oh, and we need a 3rd receiver, because we have 2 good receivers and a bunch of crapola.

Dan Bailey.

And there's no doubt in my mind that Buehler would have shanked at least two of those kicks.

Nice write up.

That offense looked like it was held together with bubble gum and scotch tape, what with the turmoil on the OL and WRs. It looked like they were playing a pickup game. Somehow, Romo coped with the adversity and chaos.

Time to free up that spot for Tanner.
