Over the course of the season Tony Romo has turned me into a fan of his. WE are seeing him healthy and able to hit his throws. We are seeing the best football of his career. Where he was forcing throws in tough spots and close games, he's making big time throws every week. Just seems like he's learned to trust more teammates then just Witten. I think Romo is still playing at this level for atleast 3 more yrs, and i wouldnt be suprised if Jerry was right in saying the next 5.

Dez Bryant is destroying anybody they line up over him, he just seems more focused then he had been. That Thanksgiving game seemed to wake him up and light a fire in him, because sonce then nobody has been able to cover him. Pay this guy but i still hope they dont cave into a obscene amount. He needs to understand the way the Cowboys work their contracts. Just because he doesnt get a big signing bonus doesnt mean they arent going to give him guaranteed money. Tyrons contract should show him plenty. Dallas just does it this way for cap reasons. Jerry has been loyal to him since day one and went beyond when Dez' head wasnt on right. The same loyalty Tyron showed Jerry i hope Dez shows.

I thank the football gods for Murrays season everyday, but i hope he isnt running the ball for Dallas next yr for the money he wants. I understand Murrays business side and knows he only has maybe 2 or 3 priime yrs left and needs to cash in now. So i say let the man test the market. If the moneys not there bring him back home, because i dont see Murray gaining more then 1100 for another team. Dallas still has a game left and the playoffs, its not out of the question that Murray could have 500 carries when its all said and done.

Anthony Spencer is starting to trust his knee. He was holding back earlier in the yr and being blocked one on one. Thats not happening anymore, hes forcing double teams to his side. When they arent he's getting around Ts. He's been forcing alot of holding calls on his guy too. I wouldnt be suprised if Dallas brought him back next yr and ran the strong side with him and Gardner.

Demarcus Lawrence finally showed some life this weekend. But it wasnt from the right side. Most of his snaps came from the left side. Maybe the Cowboys feel he doesnt have the skills to face these LTs but rather use his speed to get around the slower RTs.

Carter and Hitchens have stepped up their game each in their own area. Hitchens in coverages and Carter has been a wall on them screens teams like to run. Theyre not off the charts theyre just doing their jobs. Thats the best thing they could do for this defense. Not trying to do too much, but rather just doing their assignments.

This secondary is doing alot better now that Marinelli is running more man coverage. Playing more to the strengths of the players. Sterlin Moore IMO has had the biggest impact. The guy plays so aggressive that WRs seem giddy around him and lose focus. Whenever he is around the ball he is swiping at it trying to get that ball out.

I would add that Tony has been so successful because he can read a book back there....he is surveying the field nicely and given enough time, there is almost always someone going to get open...tony has been finding them....the team is gelling right now, and it's a good time of the year to be doing that

Sterling Moore improving might be the most important development going into the offseason. I can't check to see if he's a FA this year but I think it's a given he's back. If he can continue to develop in this scheme we could get a steal.

Hitchens is a baller. He was everywhere.

Carter still misses tackles, sometimes it's really bad. He can cover but he's gone.

Not sold on Spencer, he's basically JAG right now.

Parnell played a good game.

Wilcox could be dangerous with a pass rush. I was always a fan, but sometimes potential isn't enough, especially at safety.

Romo continues to ball out of control. We're also undefeated when I wear the authentic #9 on game day.

You better keep wearing that thing or you'll have to answer to me, young man.

We may have too many FA's to keep it all together, but hopefully the can find a way to kep most, as well as replacing any guys that do leave.
But keeping this coaching staff together is also key.

JJ, you have your work ahead of you, so put down the JWB, and get your plan together....
