I'm glad you spoke on Claiborne. The Claiborne critics seem to be out in full force because he got juked by Edelman. One bad play shouldn't make his whole game.

I like our corners. I know I may be in the minority but I like what White has to offer. I like what Carr and Claiborne have done. Patmon is the mystery but it seems he's taking a step back. And plus the possibilities White give.

Hardy was unreal. Putting him in the game.....he made everyone instantly better.

And who else has been more impressed with Jack Crawford then they have with Tyrone? Jack wasn't flawless.....I still don't know how he missed that tackle that resulted in a touchdown but a nice little find. I rarely hear people talk about him other than when we went to London last year lol.
I agree with you on the Cornerbacks. They have been a pleasant surprise. I'm actually hoping we keep MO and White this offseason.

Quick, throw out of the Hall, Eugene Upshaw, John Randle, and Darrell Green...they only played for Texas A&I.

Must have been bad genes and not playing for a top High School program to get started.

The draft is a crap-shoot regardless of where you go to school, but since you're so defensive of small school players why don't you take a look at a few NFL rosters to see where the majority of the talent comes from. I'd wager that roughly 90% of the starters are products of larger D1 schools.

Also, I wasn't just picking on the fact that he went to a small school. A larger reason that I didn't like the pick is because he'd only played one year at safety. Hell, he only had a year of defense under his belt. He was a WR his first 3 years. IMO, it's way too risky to use a 3rd round pick on a combo like that.

So examples from my alma mada, is having gang green from certain anatomical body parts?

Yea, drive on...they all were under Gil Steinke and NAIA at the time.

Cherry picking intelligence is another storyline, care to talk about Pro Bowlers from my University as well? They aren't just period reflective...but I don't clamor for a stereotype to lead any parade, no matter what recall standard is involved. For the record.

Do you think you proved me wrong or something? I said it was an extremely risky pick when you draft small school projects, which it is.

So you rattled off 4 or 5 players from your small school out of the tens of thousands of players who have played in the NFL.

Congrats on the .0002% success rate.

You proved nothing and didn't acknowledge anything beyond a biased stereotype...whoopeee.:flagwave:

Church is one of the team captains, was last year as well. Last year he was a tackling machine (but couldn't cover squat). This year its like he forgot how to. I think he will be gone after this season. Move Wilcox into the SS where he belongs. Jones position move will have to be decided after this year. Do they move him to FS and give him the whole off-season to get acclimated. Or does he prove to valuable in his role now, taking on TE's, that they finally decide to draft one (high).
Will be I'm sure one of the debates for this off season.

Nice read, Latinmind...and I directly compare Hardy to Haley's arrival...and I don't buy into Terry Bradshaw's pompous belittling due to conduct. Haley was a flagrant antagonist upon his arrival. Even Nate Newton had an episode with fighting dogs way before Michael Vick...and then drug dealing afterwards. I don't hear Terry shouting foul about another analyst.

Bradshaw never got upset about the rapist QB up in Pittsburgh. Funny how that works.

J Crawford is a JAG but he fits in dallas because he is that. a guy that fits into a rotation. He gives Dallas a passrush because he's kept fresh.

And that's fine. You need JAG's on this team who are fresh especially when we get some of our guys back. But i've more impressed with this JAG then a few guys we expected valuable contributions from.

Selective outrage.

Just like the Steeler fans who were pissed when word got out that the Steelers were signing Vick.

Protesting Vick's signing while rocking the jersey of a two time sexual predator.

ok? That takes away from a great game he played? A great season he's played?

Oh, we're talking about the season or game in totality?

You said the only time he was beaten was when he the Pats used pick plays. Unless he picked himself, this play doesn't fit the mold.

Agree with most but Leary struggled most of the game, not just the end. I don't see Wilcox going anywhere after this season. Church can go though!

Mo didn't play great but he wasn't bad either. He definitely played better the last two games than yesterday. I never lost hope for Claiborne and wasn't calling for his release, we need him to step up......like he has been doing. Now, Carr is another story, want someone better next year.
