no way for me is Garrett above Steve beuerlein.

I put kosar above him too cos of his role in the playoffs when troy was out.

other than that can't find fault , other than no Kevin Sweeney...........

back up Garrett over Testeverde? Id put Dak higher than a few others because he had such a stellar rookie season, sure we can factor in eras and stuff. LeBaron was a good qb, dont get me wrong. I can see White over Romo if anyone really wants to. I think Romo brought more, but the turn overs will always hurt him.

Good list, at least you shared and did it. Kudos.

Beurlein has a playoff win, so that should get him ranked higher.

Quincy Carter started more games than Garrett and made the playoffs.

Danny White had his share of turnovers.

I can see White over Romo if anyone really wants to. I think Romo brought more, but the turn overs will always hurt him.

Danny White had 132 interceptions in 95 games as QB with a 4.5% career interception percentage.

Tony Romo had 117 interceptions in 127 games as QB with a 2.7% career interception percentage.

I can see White ahead of him for a couple reasons if someone wanted to (playoff wins being one possibility), but turnovers would not be on that list.

Tony gets a bad rap for his interceptions, and while I agree many were untimely, there weren't as many as people want to blame him for. (FYI Troy aikman and Roger Staubach had 3.0 and 3.7 career interception percentages respectively - and no I am not insinuating Room is better than either of them (he's not IMO), just pointing that fact out.)

Any Dallas Cowboys great QB list w/o Steve Pelluer is wack!

Seriously though, I loved the guy back then even if it was for only a fleeting second!

You've got White ranked too high. He was a very good player who was fortunate enough to have the best supporting cast in the NFL over the three seasons that he "led" the Cowboys to the conference championship game. Of the teams with the most wins from 1980-82, those Dallas teams had the league's best defense and best running game. In any one particular year, there was always a team that was better than the Cowboys, but no team was consistently better over that 3-year period.
