DE: Michael Bennett

DT: Linval Joseph

these are the only two I would want on your list. Houston will be resigned. oakland has th emost amount of money to spend in the NFL. They already said they will franchise him if they don't get a deal by FA. The rest are scrubbs lucky to be in the NFL.

17 players?

LOL

Just for laughs who are your cuts?

People seem confused.. It is a list of guys that I think could be intriguing options for a cheap price if the Cowboys were interested not an offseason free agency plan to get all those guys

no Stevie Brown? NYG FS tore his ACL in the 2013 preseason but had 8 INTs and 2 FF in 2012. Could come somewhat cheap because of his injury. Would look into him considering his ball skills would benefit us greatly.

If we don't draft a S very early, we better get a big time one some where. DL and S is where we need to spend 80% of our money.

I'd take McCluster. Versatile, speedy guy. But guys like him can be found in the draft.

Don't spend a dime. Draft smart, let the season play out (prob 8-8 or around there), fire Garrett and cleans house/ start rebuilding this team. They're not winning anything anytime soon. Build for the future.

Of course all that is too logical and Jerry will probably draft a RB and WR early and overpay some lower-tier FA.

If you want to be realistic, 2 guys coming off season ending injuries Anthony Spencer & Henry Melton might come at a bargain where you could sign both of them possibly on 1 or 2 year deals.

Last thing I want on this team is a turnover machine like Legarette Blount.

2nd last thing I want on this team after guys who turn the ball over is more players that can't get onto the field due to durability and/or injury issues.

QB: Tarvaris Jackson (Assuming Orton will be cut for cap relief)
If they go to the trouble of replacing Orton, I would prefer to get someone younger that might develop into something. Jackson has already passed that stage.

HB: Lagarette Blount, Bernard Scott
I don't see them signing a FA RB, but who knows.

WR: Dexter McCluster, Brandon Tate
I don't see them spending much at this position in FA.

OT: Bruce Campbell
They need depth at Guard, not OT. They have a legit backup OT and another one in development. They have zero depth at Guard.

DE: Willie Young, Lamarr Houston, Michael Bennett
Bennett is in a situation that makes sense for him to be available. He is not a starter in Seattle and might want to be a starter somewhere.
Houston is doubtful because Oakland has an extreme amount of cap space.
Young only had 3 sacks in 15 starts. I don't know too much about him.

DT: Terrence Cody, Linval Joseph
Cody at 340 is not a Marinelli type DL.
Joseph would be terrific 1-tech and is only 25.

CB: Javier Arenas, Sam Shields, Chris Cook, Mike Jenkins
I don't see them signing any CBs that were 2013 starters.

S: Quintin Demps, Brandon Merriweather
Demps is interesting. He started 6 games for KC in 2013 and is only 28.
Is Meriweather any good? If he is, would the Skins not re-sign a starter?

I don't believe we can afford Linval Joseph.

Tough crowd the OP is just speculating if we could sign someone off his list and everyone jumps all over it like it was a crazy notion.

Tavaris Jackson can win a game and is probably among the cheapest backup options that will be out there, So unless you all prefer Matt Leinart IDK what to tell you lol. We have no money.. Seems people on this forum only know about household names and are disinterested in anything other than that in terms of the Cowboys but the fact is we don't have the money in to bring any of your madden favorites to the Cowboys
