We flew in Saturday morning, and rented a car. We met Gerald Sensabaugh's aunt at the car rental place. She was really nice. We got our car, and we were off to our hotel. This is where we stayed. That balcony offered the BEST entertainment each night. In ten minutes I saw: a trannie wearing skinny jeans, cowboy hat, and high heels walking down the street yelling at his/herself, a near 2-on-2 fight, and a bum riding a shopping cart down the hill super fast. SF is the BEST people-watching place I've visited.

We couldn't check into our motel yet, so we decided to go eat at the Burger-bar, which is on the 6th floor of Macy's located in Union Square. Here is the view from the restaurant.

Afterwards, we headed to Fisherman's Wharf. I was blown away at how many Cowboys fans I saw there. It was 3:1 ratio. We ran into a group representing a SoCal fan club. Super cool guys. Here we are showing off our tats.

That night we went to the Hyatt in Burlingame, where the Cowboys were staying, to meet up with our new SoCal friends. We got there a tad late, but I saw DeMarco Murray leaving as we were going in. These SoCal guys chilled with us a bit, gave us beer, etc, and talked football with us. One of their kids had this shaved in his head

We ate, went backed to the hotel, and called it a night. I stood out on the balcony a bit and watched the SF crazies. I LOVE THIS CITY!!!!!!

GAMEDAY, SON!!!
We wake up, get some food, and head to Candlestick...err...Cowboys Stadium West. Traffic was a little bad, luckily we stayed like 6 miles from the place. We parked in a lot close to the 101, and tailgated a bit there.
I wanted to see the main lot, so we walked over there.

The main lot was BUMPING! These fans out here know how to tailgate! Of course, it smelled like a Bob Marley concert (hey it's all good), the beer was flowing, and the music was pumping.

....I had to drink Anchor Steam while in SF.

I didn't get any negative vibes from the 49ers fans. In fact, I thought they were pretty cool. I'd replace our home fans with Cali Cowboys fans in a HEARTBEAT. They are LOYAL and LOUD. Everyone was having fun, even the police.

It was nearing kickoff, so we went in.

I couldn't have picked a better "first away game". I had so much fun, because our fans were representing so hard. Hearing our fans take over the stadium with "Let's Go Cowboys" chants was just.....BEAUTIFUL.

The next day we went and checked out Golden Gate bridge and drove into Oakland.

Great pictures. I once got to see a baseball game at Candlestick years ago, but not a football game. It's a cool area to visit too.

those are pretty wicked seats..chose a great game to attend! congrats..im sure it was a blast

Out freaking standing!

I agree with you on loving Frisco man. I had so much fun there. One of my favorite places to visit by far. I swear I saw the entire Dr. Hook Freaker's Ball out there.

Looks like an awesome time. Thanks for sharing your experience with everyone.

Good stuff.

Sorry you had to watch the game at Candlestick though.
Man no kidding The "Stick" sucks in every way! Great pictures thx

based on what I saw on TV wearing your Cowboys colors was not an issue. :laugh2:

Looked like a Cowboy home game but louder. :laugh2:

San Francisco rules for sure but one quibble, the Golden Gate does not go to Oakland, it goes to Marin County. The Bay Bridge goes to Oakland.

Great pics! Looks like you guys had a blast. It's been a long time since I was in SF but I always enjoyed visiting there. I'm originally from SoCal and I can vouch for the number and quality of the Cowboys fans in California (hey, I was one of them).

Congrats on getting to visit a great city and see a wonderful game! :starspin

San Francisco was by far the BEST city I've visited. It's so different. I love to people watch, and that place does not let you down. My GF and I are already talking about going back, because we didn't even scratch the surface.

Candlestick is old, but I didn't think it was that bad. I made it a point not to drink enough to pee, because I didn't want to miss any of the game.

It was a little hotter than I anticipated. I took off my jersey at one point. I heard a niners fan yell "take that jersey off!!!"....so I turned around, slapped my tattoo three times, and he shut up. haha.

Yes, I know. We went back into SF, then to the bay bridge after the G. Gate bridge. Sorry, I wasn't clear on that.

The fans there WERE louder than our entire stadium. It's sad, but true.

SF is the best city in North America in my view. You get California sun but not southern California heat. The people are friendly and there is so much to do. I've been there four times and loved it each time.

I've been to Candlestick for baseball but never football. Next time we play in SF, I think I might try to make the trip down.

It seemed that way on TV as the Cowboys tied the game and then Holley made the big catch. There was a lot of blue in that stadium

IMO, AT&T Ballpark (where the SF Giants) play is probably Top 1 or 2 of the best modern ballparks in all of baseball.

Yeah I wanted to go to a game there when we had our partners' retreat last year but alas the Giants were on the road so I was only to buy a Giants' tshirt.

I remember being in a sports store there and there was more Cowboy stuff for sale than Raider or 49er.

Great pics. Glad to see you had such a great time. Anybody ask about loose change?
