My Turn draft picks

1rd. Pass Rusher is the first pick, No Questions.
Until we get someone to help Ware and rush the passer, I don't care how many CB's you draft or sign they can not cover with the time that we have let the Qb have, they can't cover all day,,

Ware needs someone that can play if we are going to stay in the awful 3-4 D, me I would go to a 4-3 see Giants D and pass rush for reasons
Ware - Lissmore - Rat - Draft

2nd. FS that can play, 3 or 4 year starter at position

3 rd. CB, a bigger CB that can be and play physical,

4 rd. WR, depends on Robinson,
I would let Robinson walk, just like two other teams unless he takes a fair price contract, I would not over pay for his services, because he want first string money, not worth it,

5 rd. FS or another big CB, coverage skills again

6rd LB run stuffer

7rd TE we seem to pick good TE in the later rounds

that is my picks of the draft..

FA pickups, need help at both OL and S position, that the weakest positions on the field, if we fix the pass rush,,

Theres some truth to your thought about better rush makes a better secondary. Covering for 3 seconds is a lot easier then for 7 or more. I tend to agree that we need a great pass rusher in the first.

We have enough needs to where we should be drafting Best Player Available at all of our spots and fill in gaps with FA. The days of reaching for a so-so player should be done.

this method would work if we had a real GM

the problem is our GM wouldnt know who the "best player available" is if he hit him in the face

Well, we're going to have to get at least 1 top CB this coming season.

Newman will be cut, as will Walker, and quite possibly Ball.

Scandrick is better in the slot.

We need a quality starting CB opposite Jenkins.
