I wasn't sure how many players are allowed on the practice squad so I just named many players that I thought would be considered.

Notes
- It was tough not putting Jackie Battle on the 53 man roster but I just don't see room for him right now. He's not considered a FB so I chose Anderson instead. I still think Battle could be a great player for this team in the near future!
-Adam Bergen makes it as the 3rd TE because of his experience and I remember reading somewhere that the coaching staff isn't very fond of Tony Curtis' attitude.
- I have Stanley backing up Fergy for now. I wouldn't be surprised if we sign a DT when the roster cuts begin with Stanley being released. Glenn Dorsey next year anyone?
- Obomese and Glymph make the squad at OLB because of Greg Ellis' slow rehab process.
- I read that Nate Jones was backing up Newman and he's also a reliable special teams player. I think Alan Ball showed enough to push Jacques Reeves off the squad. It could go either way with Ball on the practice squad and Reeves on the team for the 56th consecutive season.
- It would be great if Folk out kicks Gramatica in the preseason. This helps us carry an extra DL/LB, which is essential for the 3-4.

Pretty much like all of that, except I don't see 2 FB on the roster and 3 TE. I'm not sure where I would add more depth, but I suppose either line wouldn't hurt.

FB: Oliver Hoyte, Jackie Battle, they are looking at his blocking technique, they will try and put Deon Anderson on practice squad.

WR: Terrell Owens, Terry Glenn, Patrick Crayton, Sam Hurd, Miles Austin, Here is where it might get tricky, considering Stanbach doesn?t play in the first 2 games, I think they will put him on the PUB, or whatever you call it for the first 6 weeks, he cant play football.

TE: Jason Witten, Anthony Fasano, Here is where I think they go with 2 TE?s, and keep one on practice squad. They will try and use I am thinking James Marten on critical 3rd and one plays with Marten more of a bruiser on running plays.

OL: Flozell Adams, Kyle Kosier, Andre Gurode, Leonard Davis, Marc Colombo, Pat McQuistan, Doug Free, James Marten, Cory Proctor I agree with this completely.

That?s 24 players on offense, with Stanbach counted in!!!!!!!

That?s 4 players on special teams!!!!!!!! So, that leaves 1 player still available off of the practice squad. You could add a TE or Deon Anderson here, I still am hoping by some miracle, with the trade that the Patriots made with Chicago for a CB, they might be planning to trace Samuel, my dream for us is to get Samuel and some way work it out in salary cap to keep him, that would make Henry available in a trade, he is getting older, and slower, so to me, makes sense if you can get Samuel for a 2nd round draft choice, and a 3rd or 4th in 2009. To me, that would make our defense the best in the NFL, and we could challenge anybody, maybe even beat New England when we play them in Dallas. Of course I am just dreaming, but dreams do come true sometimes.

I think it is 7 players on practice squad limit, but not totally sure.

- I am hearing too much from Battle, I am afraid he will light it up in preseason, and you cant take that chance, while Deon Anderson hasn?t lit them up in practice, so I see Anderson going on practice squad, and if they need him they bring him up. !.

I agree with this, Dorsey as our 2nd # 1 draft choice, it will be either Dorsey or a young WR if Stanbach doesn?t show anything by the end of the year.

I read that too, but from what I saw, Reeves is my guy, Ball is injured, so I see Ball going on practice squad. ? It is scary, to keep a rookie kicker, remember the good kicker that San Diego has now, he missed some critical kicks his rookie year. Now I see this unless Folk wins some preseason games with some kicks, I see them going with Folk and Gramatica, then if Folk comes on by end of year, then you could see Cowboys trade Gramatica if a team needs a kicker, or they keep 2 kickers for insurance in playoffs.

I wouldn't be surprised to see 10 OL.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Matt Moore as emergency QB, either.

I think that is pretty good.. my best guess right now.. with out watch preseason.. I would make these changes.

Add Moore- Maybe.. depending on how he looks in Preseason.. if he is lights out.. I doubt he would make it thru waviers to the PS,, thus forcing us to keep him on the roster.

I really don't think we keep both Austin and Thompson. Neither one will really have an impact this season, other than the return game. I think we will cut thomspson keep battle,, he has more upside. I think we keep Austin for the same reason, more up side to provide quality depth later.

I don't think we will keep 3 TE and 2 FB.. I can see 3 TE, 1 FB or 2 TE and 2 FB.. My guess,, Anderson and Hoyte make the team while we carry just two TE on the roster.

I also doubt we keep Alex O as an OLB.

i think joey thomas makes the squad for sure.. no way obomese does.. even khari long looks like a better fit for the 3-4 and he has only been here a week.
