You do know computers do other things besides surf the internet and send email right?
What is the need for all that printing and hanging you got going on?
Because it helps me know who the players are with their size, speed, strenght, red flags, etc... So, when the cowboys draft a player i can say in my own mind, yeah or oh no, not who the heck is that guy. Or for example they pass on a player like Johnny Knox, I can say, cottonpicking cowboys in your war room, I told you about that player, your going to regret not drafting him. Its kinda like, when the cowboys draft these players, you know what they are getting, if they can help them, or they blew a draft pick, etc... The draft is where either you make a run at a superbowl for years or you lose by not drafting wisely. You never, ever reach for a player, thats when you get in trouble, and you dont get to cute trading down too far either. This is where teams are built in the draft, you can sometimes trade up to get a player like the 49ers did in gettting Jerry Rice, or trade down and package players in 2nd to 5th round like 49ers did one year. You have to know where the strength of the draft is, in what rounds, what levels there are and where they are and fall off.
I have twice as much information, open chat, spreadsheets, value boards, film, email, radio coverage, TV Coverage, scouting reports, team needs........etc, etc etc all at my fingertips and it's just a TV and my laptop.
I have all of that too, when the draft starts, I will have my 7 draft mags that i have read backwards and forwards, my inside sources on internet with ourlads, nfl draft blitz, sporting news war room, and others. I will have my tv recording both NFL Network Draft and Espn Draft with my DVR, I will have my internet on listening to Norm H.... with the Goose, along with twice the stuff you have on the internet. I do this every year for the NFL Draft with my war room.
How are you even able to enjoy any of it with all that going on? YES! Absoutely, i even have a Do Not Disturb Sign On my Door! Even a local TV station is going to interview me, on my war room this week before the draft.
I have been in a war room and it's not even that complex. Sigh, Ive never been in a warroom. Ive seen them, on TV etc, but thats all, thats where you beat me in that area.
More power to you man.
