.... is that Brett Favre throws five interceptions Sunday in a 48-0 loss and he and Brad Childress get into a shoving match on the sideline.

I would rather see the team who beat us make it to the SB. However no big deal to me at this stage. I plan on kicking back and just enjoy the games. Spent 1 day grieving now moving on.

I'm hoping for six INTs and 56-0, but I guess I could settle for your version.

I was kinda hoping that on their first drive he would score a TD and Bill Grammatica his leg on his jumping around celebration..........

Up until about 2 minutes left in the game i was saying i would pull for the Vikings if they beat us. Now i am forced to route for the Saints. I want that last minutes classless TD they scored against us to be the last TD of Brett Favre's career.

Not that he cares but he let a lot of people down with that display. Southern country boy with kids and all was negated by that classless act.

Now i will be pulling for Drew Brees and his somewhat strange relationship with his mom.

in my own hatred of the man, i'll admit i've wished the theisman on him a few times. i feel bad afterwords and know i'm not serious, but lord all mighty, get the man off my tv screen already. if he goes to the superbowl i'm turning off all network channels till it's over because of the lovefest the media has for the guy.

he's retired more times than KISS and people keep sucking it up every year with doe-eyed anticipation of *IF* he'll come back next year. a long history of precidence says sure he will. as soon as camp is over he'll find the urge to play again.

in the end, what i really wish for is just the "runs" and poo'ing himself on a nasty sack and having to rush off the field with a huge brown wet stain that will forever be his final moment on the field.

strange dreams i have, huh?

I liked akz's wish. I can't remember the spelling, but he posted it in the Vikes fan thread.

That they make it to the super bowl and then lose a record setting 7th super bowl. And it wouldn't hurt if Favre totally hoses the game in the process.

Imagine how much it will suck if we have to hear the media drool all over P Manning and Favre at the same time. I seriously dont know if i could stand to hear that. You would have 2 teams where the other 78 players are irrelevant and never mentioned at all. I watched the colts game the other night and almost threw up over the manning love that was going on. ewww

Come on Jets and Saints.

No kidding I am pulling for anyone to beat the Vikings.

I don't know why but losing to Favre and Childress made this loss more painful than our recent meltdowns.

NFL Network was so overjoyed they ran a Favre documentary last night. Sheesh!!! :bang2:

I never hope for a player to get injured but I will make an exception with Favre. It would be nice if he gets sacked and gets a concussion and Childress has to put Tavaris Jackson in.

x 2

If Farve made it past us, I was looking forward to him adding another ring to his collection even though I dislike their head coach - Childish. Then Farve rubbing it in Greenbay's face.

But now, **** that. I'm hoping someone returns them the favor.

It's one thing to beat down a team, cough O-line cough. But to throw salt on the open wounds while their down, uncool man.

With the exception of Washington, Pittsburgh or San Francisco (and Philadelphia just for kicks :D ), I have never cared which team wins or loses in the Super Bowl, conference championships, etc., each year. Nonetheless, if I were to make a choice, I would want the New York Jets to win the Super Bowl.

Why? Only so that the Cinderella/non-favorite team can continue it's sporadic trend (that one's for Bach ;) ) of winning it all during this current 15-year old salary cap/free agency era of the NFL.

The best of the best used to win championships. Why not this year as well?

I'll be nauseous either way. We'll have Favre-fest if they win, and we'll have the "real America's team" if the Saints win.

Sickening.

I hope the Vikings win the Super Bowl but I couldn't care less about the last TD pass either.

I hope the Jets win the Super Bowl but I wouldn't care at all if the Vikings won the Super Bowl.

Brett Favre is annoying but he is a great player.

I could care less about them running up the score.

Well said. The crapping himself is a nice touch.

As long as the last TD is a 50 yard play action pass on 4th and 3 with less than two minutes remianing. C'mon Sean - do it for your your old team.
