Garrett is prepared to sit out games and I believe him. It wouldn't surprise me if he gets traded during the draft.

I like where this is going. Myles Garrett is going to force the Browns to trade him He is prepared to sit out. The Browns are going to get to the draft and then figure out that he isn’t going to play for them. I know the odds of the Cowboys getting him are long, but I think he will get traded at some point.

The Browns owner turned down a meeting with him.

I think if he was bluffing the owners don't care.

Plus, he'll go to the Eagles and this thread will age like milk.

Of course, he will.......
There is a nugget suggesting this has been brewing for a while. Word is his frustration isn't about money, it's the direction and culture of the team. He played through a couple of injuries, even while losses were piling up but accused some teammates of checking out or going through the motion. As one beat writer put it, he wants a chance to win a Super Bowl and doesn't see the Browns as relevant for a few more years.

You need to stop being so focused on Garrett, he's not coming here , you can't pay Parsons 36 + 1,000,000 and then give up high draft picks to bring in another guy that wants over $30 million as well at the same position there are very few teams that can actually pull that off and most don't there are almost no examples of teams who have to market value players at the same position on their team you typically have to get rid of one to bring one in or have one on a rookie deal and then you can afford to bring another stud over and pay them that kind of money but that's not here so why be focused on him when there's a list of free agent pass rushers that better fit here and that will be a good compliment to parsons?

he's going to go to a team that doesn't already have a high price starting defensive end that's where he'll end up.

nobody has the resources to both give up a lot of draft picks and then turn around and hand a guy $32 million a year for the next 4 years there are very few options out there that would be a good fit for him..

And by the way it doesn't matter if he's bluffing they let Reddick sit last year, he wouldn't be the first, there are a lot of players that teams will make them sit to make a point make them sit out eight to 10 games lose that money, and then end up being traded but they have a way to play the game as well not all teams just give in to the holdouts...

If a winning culture and the chance to win a SB are his priority, why would he want to come to Dallas?

I think he ends up getting traded, but I doubt the Browns are in any hurry. Honestly if I were them I would probably be looking at 2026 picks....you could probably get higher picks that way and its shaping up to be a better draft class for high end QBs.

I don't see how the draft gains any leverage for either side, he is being serious and they are trying to play games. I have no doubt he knows his window to win a championship is closing he needs to get on a team with real chance, that should exclude the Cowboys as well.

Long? More like non-existent. Hasn't he made it very clear he wants to play for a team focused on winning? That eliminates Jerry and his clown show altogether.

He isn't going to play for the Browns and he has enough money to sit out and force their hand to trade him.

Same here.......I would draft Carter/Hunter, sign someone like Daniel Jones and, keep Winston. Target 2026 to find my franchise QB.

They might as well try to trade him now, if not they wait and wait and get picks for next year instead of this year
