Yep, if he's anything close to that version of himself, watch out.We saw a couple of years ago what Williams can do, first hand.

Not sure Luepke makes it, or Deuce.Williams is still a good RB. He will make the team. Sanders may make the team if he beats out Deuce Vaughn and and/or Malik Davis, whom I think will be given a chance to win a job this year.
Bottom line, Lupke makes it, Williams makes it, and the rest will be a battle, but don’t be surprised if we draft a RB and bring in an UDFA back. That could push Davis and Vaughn both out.
but you know how the cowboys do they'll put out these guys first and let the rookie come in and eventually be the starter at week 4That's what training camp and preseason is for.
I wouldn't be shocked if both were unavailable on opening day.
In either case, they will be backing up a rookie.
Neither Williams or Sanders are playing special teams so it’s highly unlikely both make the active roster. They may keep both as they may only draft 1 RB if in the 1st 3 rounds. Then a flyer on one late, but may be more PS type guy. If no better player is there.
Keep in mind, They may not keep Deuce. Leupke, maybe, depends how the new staff values a FB. Can Williams take his place.
If they draft a RB like Henderson, who is an all around RB such Zeke was. Run, catch, block. That can make Leupke more expendable. I like Leupke, but how valuable is he to take a roster spot. Will they have package for Deuce, and can they execute those plays.
Some coaches prefer a vet RB in the depth chart.I think they are both terrible and I am hoping they draft 2 RBs in this draft so they don't have to rely on either one.
So far he's appeared to be a deuce worth dropping. You guys are losing your minds if you don't think we'll keep little deuce!!
we shall see shekky-shabazz!!!So far he's appeared to be a deuce worth dropping.
Several here have suggested that MM has been " holding him back" so this year should finally confirm or dispel this claim
I’m pretty confident in Luepke….still on rookie UDFA deal, plays special teams, FB, backup TE, emergency RB depth. He was the fourth most used player on special teams. Not sure Luepke makes it, or Deuce.
