I say lets go ahead and take FSU safety Rolle. He can help our team get a little smarter.

for a 6th rounder. he is worth it. i have no problem with guys being smart.

He could be a good special teams player. I think if he played last year he might be a 2nd or 3 round pick.

I love the guy but I think with the selection of AOA, he will go to someone else.

I think we need OL help the most but I don't know if we can pick anyone that will play there this year.

Maybe with the 2nd 6th rounder. I'd be in no rush to take him. People piled up on Mays, but Rolle is Mays without the athletic ability.

He's got bad hips and bad ball skills and isn't a fluid athlete.

You hear a lot about his smarts, and he's certainly smart, but he isn't a gifted football player.

He does have bulk and is willing in run support. He's a good kid that takes coaching well, you could tell he wanted to be prepared for the combine and took it very seriously. His issues don't have much to do with coaching or technique since he is a guy that studies that stuff and prepares well, so how high could his ceiling possibly be?

With our needs at OL still glaring, I don't see the point really.

I don't see his roll at this point with AOA; let's get some OL prospects.

great kid, but he has almost no atheltic ability for the NFL game...he's a practice squad guy at best

I'm not very good at telling if someone has good hips or not but I do know that he was a GREAT football player. He was always in position and made plays on the ball both in the air and on the ground. Miami and Florida hated him so maybe that should be taken in consideration. Still I don't see us taking him after taking AOA.

He has 1 int and 13 pass break ups his entire college career, so all these plays he made on the air, I don't see them.

He is smart so he was in position but he has no recovery speed and his hips were on full display during the combine, he ran the drills very tight even though he had good form.

He made a lot of tackles and that's to his credit for sure, but if you guys hated Roy and Mays for their coverage ability, Rolle doesn't strike me as any better in that regard.

If we took Rolle, though we wouldn't have to play AOA at FS. Could slide Rolle to FS and have better depth at CB.

The O-line plan is trashed thus far. Better hope some FAs become available.

his career stats dont show many plays on the ball at all

the guy is a great kid, but just isnt that good a football player

amen. he can play too. I don't care what his 40 was (4.76 at combine). He carries his pads well. I love that kid!

Rolle cannot play FS in our regular defense, nor anyone elses

I second this. I would rather find someone with more athletic ability that has a higher upside.

He was projected to be a 2nd round pick last year and didnt play football for a year. Worth a 6th.
