IRVING - The Dallas defense didn't really do much celebrating after posting back-to-back shutouts for the first time in franchise history.
"Our job is to stop teams from scoring," end Marcus Spears said. "To pitch back-to-back shuts, I guess, is huge for some people. But for us the response has been what I think it needs to be. I mean, we know what we have to do from this point on and this is just the beginning of something we need to finish."
That's a great attitude and a big reason why you've got to like this team's chances entering the playoffs. Team leaders like Spears, Bradie James, Keith Brooking and Jason Witten have set a tone with their understated response to all the good things that happened yesterday.
"It's a big accomplishment to win the division, but we have a lot more to do," Witten said.
