Perfect practice makes perfect right? Of course Qbs do not get hit during practice because they are in a less protective position when they play. Defensive players certainly better hit the others around them though so they can learn how to tackle. Unless you like watching the Baltimore game replays.

Every player on the field is defensless...even defenders. So, with your logic, Ware should go "balls to the walls" regardless if he gets injured or not?

How about Barber, Witten, Austin? Those guys should go out and try and WIN a freaking practice session so they can learn how to win a game?

Why not Romo..he needs to learn how to take a hit because it will happen in a game.

Hitting one who is throwing is significantly different than someone who is running through a line, running a route, blocking, etc.

That is why there are rules EVEN IN GAMES about where, how, and when you can hit the guy who throws the ball...

Quincy rode on the back of a very strong defensive performance and an easy schedule.

QC wasn't that good.

Yeah.... somehow I don't remember Quincy being pulled by mid-season to be replaced by a UDFA. So, No, he wasn't. He finished the season the starter, he went to the playoffs.

The schedule is only weak if you do well? Bullcrap. Drew QB'd the team that should have been Q's if not for his off the field issues, which Tony now QB's far better than both would have.

But Quincy was a better Cowboy QB than Drew Bledsoe. Period.

In the past 3 seasons, we're 27-12 with Romo starting and we're 4-6 without him starting. He's tied for the highest QB rating among active QBs (tied with Peyton Manning).

It's very clear that Romo is the best player on the team and one of the best players in the entire NFL.

It's a toss up between Romo and Ware for me. Throw Witten in that discussion as well.

QB is the most important position, so Romo may be the most valuable, but as far as best, I'd give the nod to Ware.

But at the same age, in his prime, Bledsoe was a better QB than Crankcase ever was.

And Bledsoe STILL is a better human being than Crankcase ever will be.

AND, I have never heard of Bledsoe hitting the Mexican lettuce like Crankcase does.

But, I have to give it to you...if Crankcase did not hit the bong all the time...we would have NEVER heard of Romo! :

I said "Cowboys Quarterback". I meant "Cowboys Quarterback". I'm not sure how much more clear I could be.

Quincy Carter played better QB in his LAST season as Cowboys starter than Drew Bledsoe did in EITHER of his two years in the starting role of Qb for the Dallas Cowboys.

Drugs/issues/character have zero relationship to the above fact. Drew sucked here. Plain and simple.

I agree with him. But wasn't he one of the guys at the end of last season that ripped Tony? I was thinking that he, Troy and Emmitt all attached him? I don't have time to go out and research it but I could have sworn he did. Maybe now that a certain receiver isn't here, he is back to looking at things logically?

Gotta love the Playmaker and hate some of our idiot fans who are talking about getting rid of a pretty damn good QB who doesn't even have 40 starts under his belt! To that end, I still haven't seen him lose a game by himself. He's had plenty of help in our Dec/Jan collapses if memory serves me correct.
