Had there not been a lockout, the Dallas Cowboys would have started voluntary workouts today at Valley Ranch, according to ESPNDallas.com.

With that said, it’s time for Cowboys QB Tony Romo to make good on a promise he made in the locker room at the Linc in Philadelphia after Dallas closed the dismal 2010 season with a win over the playoff-bound Eagles’ backups.

Speaking to reporters in the locker room, Romo vowed to organize offseason workouts for the offensive players should the NFL and the NFL Players Association fail to reach an agreement on a new collective bargaining agreement.

Well does Osborn think Tony, was lying when he made that statement after that game.

Go figure alot of the players said the same thing regarding workouts if there was in fact a lockout which is now the case.

They are somewhere working out there is no doubt in my mind about that.

So far, there have been no media reports of Romo scheduling any voluntary workouts.

The Detroit Lions, meanwhile, have already hit the field.

This is a call out article and know I see the inspiration torsborn had.

That's a good question. Is their health insurance in effect at a time like this?

As long as they can pay for it. COBRA kicked in when they were locked out, so aside from things like massages, acupuncture, etc. they will be covered. You might see some of the lower salaried players skip because they can't afford the premiums (up to $2,400 monthly for a family). Romo, Newman and those other high dollar players will be fine, though.
