IRVING - Leave it to tough-talking LB Keith Brooking to downplay the Cowboys' three-game winning streak.

"Everybody's going to be drinking the Cowboy Kool-Aid here and telling us how great we are and how good we're doing," Brooking said after Sunday's rout of Seattle. "But we have a long ways to go and a lot of football to play."

Brooking is right. Forget the Atlanta game. Sunday night in Philadelphia is when we learn whether this team is for real.

The Falcons came to town after the Cowboys' bye week. And let's not forget that Atlanta was coming off a hard-fought win over Chicago.

Make no mistake. I'm not saying the win over Atlanta wasn't impressive. But the Cowboys will garner a lot more respect if they beat a high-flying division opponent on the road in a very hostile environment.

And if they lose, there will be panic in the streets.

Man, did we ever need Keith last year. He's been everything that Zach Thomas was supposed to be for us.

Terrific addition.

Parcells would have loved this guy.

I command thee to stop this incessant man love for Brooking. That is all, men.

But he isn't from Jersey, Italian or related to any of the Tuna's former players. :D

Dude Drew Bledsoe was from Washington. Do they even have Italians in Washington?

Ah, yes they do. But that is beside the point, Bledsoe was one of Parcells' former players. Besides I was being facetious.
