Mystery DL the Cowboys supposedly really like?

I don't think it's one of the named guys like Butler or Day. It's probably a D-lineman who played at a smaller school, ala, Charles Haley, who showed exceptional pass rushing skills at JMU but was selected in the fourth by the 49ers.

I doubt Fisher says anything before the draft, but I hope he would identify the player after the draft, whether we select him or not.

I am ok with that, however guys like Prescott and even Driskel have plenty of upside. Also impotant is if they are truly convinced Romo is around for three more years.

They really don't have "plenty" of upside. The odds are heavily stacked against them ever even being a primary backup for a team.

Not really. 66% completion percentage in SEC, good feet, strong enough arm, proven winner.

Can't read a defense. Is terribly inaccurate in the medium area. Lacks touch and has no concept of ball placement.

I love his competitive nature and some of his physical tools, like his build, but he is the epitome of a project.

For $9.99 a month, Fisher will tell you who the guy is.....

Yah, that was gonna be my next bit, but he has been having the 4.99 inventory reduction sale lately.

It could be so many. I do think that Marinelli fell in love with Sheldon Day at the Sr. Bowl. He isn't an unknown but they might be hoping he slips to them.

I can see that. He has the quick twitch, no question.

Fischer is a writer who regurgitates information from other outlets, but we have ESPN and the people that pay for "Insider" to thank for a lot of these outlets trying to get away with that.

But that's what we need, a QB to develop and every QB in this draft has questions and need development. Not saying Dak is my guy I prefer Lynch, but to say he is a project and not draft him for this reason alone is a mistake.

Could it be Lawson? I have a sneaking suspicion Lawson is the guy they like. I don't think they view Bosa as highly as others and I don't think Buckner is a fit. Spence probably is not it due to potential character issues. Lawson might be the guy they like.

There are different kind of developmental guys. You don't take a guy who is at least 2-3 years away from sniffing NFL ability just because you have a starter. If you're going to pull the trigger, you take the most polished guy you can get and he's better off for being able to watch and learn.

Prescott is a football player with good athletic ability. He is never going to be an NFL passer. He may one day be a back-up, but that's about where his potential stops. I guess what I am saying is, there are far better and more feasible developmental guys in this draft, even in the middle rounds, than Prescott.

I have read the answer to this somewhere . I think they are trying I hide a DL from Akron or some other small school. The guy has unbelievable stats and his workout numbers shows that he is a physical monster at 300 lbs.
